I do not find anything for ROXIE EUGENE.
There is a cenotaph marker for CHARLES W MCCLAIN who died in WWII.

Left better headstone pictures. They are really worn and I can see why the other shots are unreadable but came across with the idea of putting water on them. I think they turned out okay. Anne

Hi again. Everett is my 7th cousin. I am glad to see the Mount line here in CA. I live in Los Angeles, at LAX. Been here for 30+ years, originally from Philly. Maybe we can swap information. Anne

Is that a real picture of George's headstone on his page? I am wondering if he might not be laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery which is attached to the Veterans Home. I am there a lot and it sure looks like the same headstones they have there.Let me do some checking and I will get back to you.

|Karen Sipe||Charles R Davis|
You are looking for a Charles R Davis husband of Nettie Davis buried at Crown Hill Cemetery Seattle right?
The cemetery has two Charles on a Charles E the other Charley R Davis. The file for Charley has some family information but nothing to link him to Nettie. Her file has nothing that mentions a husband. They are not buried together either. I have posted a memorial page for Charley so maybe that will help you out.

Glad to help. If you haven't already checked out Arthur Davis I suggest you do so. He was next to the Garrs all three in a row with the same headstone style.

according to the woodlawn office, the waxlers did NOT have a marker at their gravesite. i have since informed the office that they do, indeed, have a tombstone.

You are welcome! Are you relation? Edmund married a second time. The picture was of him and Henrietta. I also have a later picture of him and his second wife Charlotte. Are you interested in seeing that as well? I plan to add it when I can.

I hadn't realized that someone (Renate) had posted a photo request, but thank you for picking it up! I have the original newspaper clippings of my great-grandfather's death and can forward them to you. Perhaps they will help you if/when you search.
About 3 years ago, my husband and I went to the local historical society there to find out where the cemetery was located and plot information. They had the rolls of interments but couldn't find him on them--even though I had the newspaper clipping that indicated his burial.
Even so, as you said, it should be a fun trip trekking through the area. Thank you so much for contacting me and best of luck!!!

I posted the photo but it is not very clear. The stone is very dark. I tried brushing it a little but that did not seem to help. Mother and daughter are buried together. I checked nearby stones but did not see any others with Lukas. Father and son are separate stones in another nearby section of the cemetery.
