|Deb||John Henry Schramm|
I want to thank you for the addition of the naturalization information and the combined headstone photo you did for John Schramm. I just changed the photos today. You did all the work for me last October and I am finally back to taking care of things here. The last 10 months have been very long and difficult, but are now over and done with. So now I am back to this and all the family research too!
Thank you again for being so thoughtful about the headstone photos and the prayer card!!

|Ric Skinner||RE: Henry M. Skinner|
I just saw your note about adding a photo to the page for Henry M. Skinner. May I ask you connection to him and where did you get that photo? Do you have any other info about Henry or any other Skinner's & descendents? I have a large amount of information about the Skinners and related individuals and am working towards writing a detailed family history.

|Tim & Grace||Sprague Tayor in Toier Cemetey|
I made the edits that you sent to me for Sprague Adams Taylor.
I just drove past that cemetery yesterday. I hadn't been out that way for more than a year. It happens a lot. The spirits see me near a cemetery and the next day or so there is a photo request or an edit for that cemetery.
Sincerely, Tim Cooper

I noticed your write-up with the picture of Adre Lundy. You mention his daughter Marilyn, You may have more information but I thought I would mention that Adre's daughter Violet (Toppel), who died in 1935, had a daughter Marilyn, b. 1934. She would have been a baby when her mother died so may well have been adopted, formally or not, by the grandparents. Violet also had two sons and although their father did not died until 1942 I found the sons in 1940 living in an orphanage.

Thank you so much for the additional information on Abraham True Tilton and his second wife. I did not have her maiden name in my research through Ancestry. I am always grateful for any help that would guide me through my research to better complete my family tree and history.

Thank you for the links to his ship records and the story about the trip. He was my 2nd great grand uncle. We knew of his success as a 49er but nothing really of the tale about arriving in CA. These are wonderful additions to his story. Thank you again.

Find A Grave # 5860687 - I just noticed today the great photo you have of John Meacham Follett, who is my 3x great grandfather. Are you related to him as well? I have other photos of the family but wondered if you have the original of this photo if you could email me a copy for better quality?
Thank you very much.

Hi Larry - Thank you for the suggestion for Thomas' bio. Find A Grave does not allow links to third-party websites, so the information specific to Thomas has been added to his bio without the links. -Deb

Thanks for the bio, but unfortunately I can't add it because of the links to outside websites (see FAQ). If you can rewrite it without outside links I'd be happy to add it.

I have added the caption you requested. I assume this is family for you. Why not ask for a transfer so you can manage the memorial?

Thanks for your comments. The cemetery staff is great about finding spouses, children in their exact locations, so when I find a situation like this, they will say "the wife is right here, the son is right here." Makes my job a lot easier! (Please check your photos--I used my iPad to take them and some are showing upside down. Please advise if yours are.

|Kathi Fluck||RE: Photo of my g-g-grandfather's marker|
You're very welcome, Larry. Yes, the cemetery staff helped me scrub off the moss so we could see the names, but I was shocked at how badly it looked in the photo. It was a sunny day; maybe a cloudy day would have been better, but when they tell me they are willing to help me find the graves, I go when they call.

Thanks so much for the tutorial. One of my gg grandfathers was a civil war soldier from Illinois so I will try your approach! And, several family extended family members were Illinois Civil War soldiers! This is very exciting to learn about the collection!
