I visited this church, unfortunately there are no markers for Akin or Akins. There is a plaque at the church entrance for Lawarenc Akin.
All the markers are 1940 on except for one in 1914. Seems unusual given the establisment date of the church.
I also visited the Union Babtist Church on Akins road and found two makers.
Did you receive the photos I e-mailed to you.

Hi Debi, I love the memorial for Albert S Hilsman. I write his name and I end up writing my husband name so often. I made a mistake on Albert H Adickes memorial so I errased it and will put an new one up tomorrow. I didn't the the cemetery and when I wanted to update the cemetery I would not change the information. Thank you for all you have shared with me. If you want any pictures of Albert Sideny's daughter Albert, I have a few and also Albert Hilsman Adickes. Hope all is well. Malinda Adickes

|Popeye||Rickenbacker in Jones Chapel|
HI Deb, Been clearing this cemetery for the past 3 years, and so far, there isn't any Rickenbacker stones visible. Jones Chapel is kind of old, est, around 1850, and there are many, very many, graves made only of brick or concrete, with no markings. The post for Mr Rickenbacker, as well as most of those here, came from Walter and Jean Ard's journal located in the Washington Library, here in Macon. An educated guess would be only 10% of those interred here are identified by their headstone/graves. IF, by chance, we find a Rickenbacker headstone, I certainly will let you know.
Have a great day,

you know I did it to butter you up to go get that Mitchell request! But really, it was probably the easiest request ever, as they are right up front and I could see them before I got out of my car.

Hi Debi, I have walked the Stockton Evergreen Cemetery in Chautauqua County NY a few times and haven't found any headstones with Parkhurst.
In the Greenwood Cemetery also in Stockton and a short distance from the Evergreen, just one road over, there are several from the Parkhurst Family. There were some listed on Find a Grave and I added several more this evening.
I just wanted to let you know so you could check out the Parkhurst Family in the Greenwood Cemetery in Chautauqua County NY.
Sincerely, Ron Kinney

|Robert Daniels||Pebble Hill Cemetery|
I note you have a photo request for this person buried in the Pebble Hill Family Cemetery. I live near there and will be glad to take a picture, but I just have some question about the cemetery. It states that the marker is "Plot: Non burial memorial for genealogy purposes."
This makes me wonder if there actually is a cemetery there. Also from your activity, I would assume that you would have already added a
picture if it were easy to do. Please let me know if there is someway I can help on this.
Thanks for any pointers.

Thanks for the note. Ann's stone is difficult to read but it states that she is the daughter of Alexander Atkinson and Sabbel Ashby Paine Lawrence. Is that what you have?

I believe I'm going to need the names of all these relatives, starting with your husband and going back to Ann Mitchell.
How about sending me an internet e-mail with who's who? Also, please give me your last name (if different than your husband's) and where you live.
At the end of all this, make a statement, such as:
I, _____________________________, authorize Carol Adams Hays to act as my representative to take photos of the grave sites and area of the Mitchell Cemetery in Tallahassee, Florida.
Perhaps with this, I can get with the homeowner and see if she will allow me access.

|Carol Adams Rowlands Hays||Ann Mitchell|
I "picked up" the photo request for Ann Mitchell who is interred in the Mitchell Cemetery, Leon County (Tallahassee) Florida.
I've been rather busy today with this request and have found that the grave site is on private property. I have spoken with the owner.
Are you related to Ann Mitchell? If so, what is your relationship?

|Winnette||Duplicates for Caroline and T. G. Mitchell|
It is most helpful, to not put much info in when searching for someone. The ones I did might have come up, if you simply search for C Mitchell and the years of death and birth in Thomas Co.
This is a link to the survey Greg and I did in 2002
I wish we had made photo's at that time, but, I did not have a digital camera back then.
Please do not feel that I am trying to give you a difficult time, but, I am constantly finding duplicate burial locations. It seem awful to me that they would move them and leave the first markers. Did they move the children too?
Please click on the link above and see the people in this cemetery. It is across from the gold course on the Pavo Road. Back off the road but in plain site.

I transferred the memorials and pictures of those I entered that appeared to be of interest to you. Some of the pictures I took are not too good because the sun was so bright I could not see what I was doing. Let me know if there are others you need. I did not locate the others you requested yet, but will see what I can do when I am back over there.
