I was sorry the stone didn't photograph better. It was pretty weathered. I tried every angle. I will try again the next time I'm in the area.

|Kathleen L Hoffman Potter||Nancie Shuler Surrena|
Super! That's the one. I was hoping she was with Simeon. I put her in and linked her to her father (don't have an exact on her mother). Thanks.

|Kathleen L Hoffman Potter||Surrenas|
I recognize Rille (wife of John Sylvester) and Wm Coulter Jr, but not Victor or William. I'm looking for a William C. Surrena, but he's older than that one. I loaded in Rille and William Coulter Jr. and linked them to their relatives, but I don't know about the other two yet. If they are from Simeon's gang, I can't place them. Did you happen to spot Simeon's wife Nancy (1845-1913) when you were there? Thanks.

|Kathleen L Hoffman Potter||Walter/Phipps|
Thanks for all the great pics, Jackie! Yes, Walter Ellsworth was thier son. I have loaded everyone in and linked them to their families. If you have photos for them, that would be super. The little (2 years at his death) Finley CS is in Old Log and he has different parents. I haven't stumbled over his stone when I'm there, but he may be unmarked or one of the little plain markers nearby his parents. I wish the ancestors wouldn't have used the same names over and over - so confusing. Thanks agian for all the work you do.

|Charles Paige||RE: Sarah Mills Sittser|
Jackie, here's what I have in my database regarding Sarah's vitals and tombstone. I hope this helps.
According to a Memorial written for her granchild Sarah Elizabeth (Sittser) and husband Rev. Benjamin Franklin Willoughby, David Sittser "married Sarah Mills, who was born in 1761 and died in 1855. David Sittser died October 17, 1841. His wife was a daughter of Samuel and Sarah Mills..."
The date for Sarah Mills' birth used in this genealogy is "1769" rather than 1761. At the time of the 1850 Federal census of Sennett, Cayuga Co., NY (taken August 30, 1850), Sarah was living with son Peter and his wife Emeline and family, and was listed as 81 years old. (The Willoughby Memoriall reference to 1761 may have resulted from someone misreading a "9" as a "1."]
Her tombstone, which is in very poor condition, reads "Sarah wife of David Sittser died ____12, 1854."

|FutureAncestor||RE: Felix Galbraith|
Felix's wife was named Marion and they had a daughter named Mary Gailbraith. I would imagine Marion remarried and would be buried elsewhere (still have not figured her out or if she has a new last name)as she was only 25 when Felix passed away and their daughter was only 5 years old.
Felix's mother's maiden name is Sedwick (Elizabeth). There is a memorial for Mary Sedwick already at Find A Grave with a photo. Is that the same one? Thanks for letting me know.
