RE: Evelyn Sutherland Stevenson
You are very welcome. They were the only Stevensons I saw in that area, sorry, and their son did not appear to have a marker nearby. Will keep an eye out for one, though.

Wonderful! Was indeed lucky to find you, specifically! Transfer made. Let me know if you need any additional cemetery information, or anything on Mr. Stevenson.

Evelyn Sutherland Stevenson
Hi, Mary. I just added a memorial for a lady who appears to be one of your Sutherlands, and I have linked it with those of her parents. Her husband, James Stevenson, was a professor at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, and they appear to have made their home here. If their memorials are, indeed, ones that you'd like to manage, just let me know. Mrs. Stevenson's memorial is #139194350.

Hi, Mary -
Glad to be of more help!!! I didn't know Annie, but I knew Uncle Frank. He is part of my "Prevatt" line. He had a pond that my mother and I used to fish!
I wish you continued success in finding your kin.
Take care,
Jennie

It makes me feel good to know that I can help someone. So if I can help locating a family member of yours, just yell real loud. I'm in southeastern GA.

RE: Thomas Brock Moore #63025772
No, I am not related. I visit graves, read the history where available & respectfully leave a flower or gif as tribute. Sometimes I find a relative but in this case I am not related to the Moore branch.

Thank you,
Dee

Bruce Gordon
Forgies of Pembroke, ON
Hi Mary,

I am related to John Graham Forgie (182-1951) through his grandmother (GRid=111109304) Isabella Ambrose (Kennedy) Moffat (1819-1894). Her sister Jessie (1835-1910) is my 2nd great grandmother.

I tend to trace all the descendants of my 3rd of 4th great grandparents in the hope of finding people who can help me break through some of the Walls. In this case Jessie and Isabella's father William Kennedy (1790-1871). We know where he was born but the parish records are thin so we have not been able to go any further back.

Would you like a transfer?

P.S. I have the transcripts for Calvin United if you would like me to lookup any additional Forgies I would be pleased to do so.

Regards,

Bruce Gordon

Hello.
Is this memorial not the same as Ellen Huggin #62143378? They have the same death date, are buried in the same cemetery and except for the month, have the same day/year birth date. Just curious.

Transfers done. I got her parents names off of her death certificate. All I know of the father is that it says he was born in GA. Her mother was said to be born in MS.

mary, so nice of you to write. yes I knew my ggrandmother was married to john james Vaughn and the children were john, james and walter lee. my grandmother used to talk about her step brothers johnny and jimmie. I never heard her mention walter. I found him listed with james and john on ancestry.com. walter was older and probably had already left home. she married my ggrandmother 9-20-1880.

Thank you for the offer; you're too kind! I enjoyed working on the McDonell branch because of its impact on Levy (and Alachua) County history. I wish you continued success in finding your memorialized kin.
Take care,

McDonell clan
Hi, Mary -
I've added a few McDonell family members to Archer's Laurel Hill Cemetery on "Find-A-Grave" after using Alachua County clerk of the court records to validate the placement of each person. Since you have a family connection and I don't, would you like for me to transfer them to you?I'll be sure to add pics of these gravestones (if any still exist) the next time I visit my own kinfolk who are buried there.
Take care,
Jennie
