Do you have the burial place of Nannie? Isn't her last name Rasco? She was previously married to Joseph Robertson Rasco.

I accepted your edits, but upon finding his obituary, it stated he was born in Bloomington, IL, not Kincaid. Please advise of your source and if you believe the obituary is correct. Thanks.

Yes, it is very sad. There is probably an article about her death but without a name it is impossible to find. I tried searching by the last name but found nothing.

|Patti Lee||Judie Carter|
Judie was not the wife who died in the house fire. Judie died in 1910. His second wife was Georgia Ann Lewis Lashlee who died of stomach cancer in 1949. I haven't found out yet who the wife was who died in the fire. Patti

|Allen Helderman||RE: Lulu M Protsman 94242087|
I have nothing on Lulu Protsman, I am just questioning why a 2 year old child who you state was born and died in Switzerland county and her parents were living in Switzerland county would be buried in Daviess county which is probably 100 miles away.
If you are working on the Protsman family I will transfer, just let me know.

|Allen Helderman||Lulu Protsman edit|
Please review your edit requests for Lulu Protsman Memorial 94242087 on find a grave.
Lulu is buried in Old Union Cemetery in Daviess County, Indiana - 2 year old child.
You are stating she was born and died in Switzerland county and her parents were born in Switzerland County.
Somehow this does not look right. Daviess and Switzerland counties are probably 100 miles apart.

|C.||McGipson/ Gibson. Martin. Woolbright names|
Hello, My wife and I are seeking her Gr Gr Gr Grandmother family and descendants. She was Hettie Gibson with name variation as Hettie Elizabeth McGipson which married into her Price line. Hettie sister married Woolbright that married Martin surnames etc. Are you by chance related to these?
Thank you. Marvin

I posted the picture on her memorial. It's in pretty bad shape. I don't know if anyone's been back there to try and clean it up. E-mail directly any time if you feel like talking family. :-)

|Lloyd Boner||Cemetery Picture|
It did not have a sign for it. I saw Dick Grice about a week ago and told him the cemetery was really grown up with little saplings. He said he needed to clean it up. I will wait for him to do that, if not I will take a photo of it just as it is.

|Sandra Lennox||RE: Mary (Finney) Clark|
Hello you sent me an edit:
got the info from this book: A Brief History of Ebenezer Phinney (of Cape Cod) and His Descendants from 1673 to 1947 - by his great granddaughter Mary Allen Phinney; Tuttle Publishing Co. 1948. This can viewed online at the Open Library website. Page 19 has the info I cited.
This also gave a 1700 birth date for Mary (Phinney/Finney) Clark. Let me know what you decided about amending the memorial.
I do not agree with this information.
The information on Mary's gravestone:
Died 1765 aged 73 yrs. This would put
her birth about 1692 not 1700.

|McPhersonGenealogist||RE: Berry Farmily|
Unfortunately, the burial year does not match the death year in all cases. Many of the burials at Mt Olivet were re-interrments either within the cemetery or from other cemeteries. In 2000+ cases I cannot reliably state that the burial date accurately lists the year of death.
Appreciate the suggestion, but I'd rather not lead a researcher astray.
I was able to locate a death notice for John Berry and clearly establish a date of death. That's one down...a few more to go.

|Bennie Gross||Lilith Taunton|
Question, how do you know that the Child's father's first name is Roderick. On the Barker it has V. B. Taunton? Please let me know, then I will be glad to change the name to Roderick VanBeren Taunton.
Just want to make sure that things are right.

|Sandra Lennox||Mary (Finney) Clark|
You had sent me an edit for my memorial of
Mary (Finney) Clark suggesting that I add:
daughter of Joseph Phinney and Mercy Bryant
Phinney, and that she is mother of: Sarah,
Lucy, Hannah, Luraina, and Samuel Jr.
I did not find any information in the
Vital Records of Plymouth to support the
information that you want me to add.
Please send me the source of your information,
along with a link. I appreciate your suggestion
but I take my memorials seriously and will not
add information without documentation.

Both Hettie & William Price are listed as buried in Smith-Waddle Cemetery, but I never found their headstones. It's possible I missed them in the 2 short visits I had there. Maybe a volunteer who lives in that area will find them & post photos soon.
The obit was one of many saved by my gr.aunt who lived her life in that area. It says she was buried at Halls Chapel, but the cemetery transcripts show them at Smith-Waddle. I guess we won't know for sure until we can see the headstones. Wish I could be down there scouting for them, but that's not possible.
