|P. Eadie||Catherine E.Lalla|
We just returned from Harleigh Cemetery in Camden, NJ where we successfully located and photographed the gravemaker for Catherine Lalla. I have uploaded this photo to her Find A Grave memorial page. With her, we found Samuel J. (1920-1996). However, Samuel does not appear to have a memorial page on Find A Grave. If you post one for him, I would be happy to upload the photo for you. PLease advise. Thanks, Pat

|Twila Cowan||Isaac & Mary Hughes|
Thank you so much for another generation of Isaac & Mary Hughes. I don't know why I have never called him JR. It just doesn't fit. I believe Mary may have been born in Indiana county. I know her father was there..Another check of courthouse records next summer. I have a list of Indiana & Westmoreland county things to do. This is a great Christmas with all of my genealogical transfers. Thanks again.
Merry Christmas. Twila

|Twila Cowan||Isaac Hughes|
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for transferring Isaac Hughes memorial to me. That represents a major piece of my Hughes family ancestry. I will treasure it more because we are establishing a Hughes genealogical pursuit of our families from the Derry and Westmoreland county areas.
THANK YOU SO MUCH

|G. Charles Ogline Lantay (aka Gregory P. Lantay)||103445840|
Hello there: I'm a LAPE SURNAME ancestor of which Sophia Lape and our family relate distantly. Our family bible indicates Sophia Elizabeth Lape, w/o William Diaz died Dec 31, 1907.
Any way you could take a photo of her tombstone to verify the Feb 10, 1908 death date. Also, there is no record of a Pennsylvania Dept of Health Death Certificate Index (INDICES) for Sophia Lape Dias dying Feb 10, 1908.
Looking forward to hearing from yourself,
Thank you very respectfully

Ha!! yep. We do get a portion of some of all the temperatures around here but I do have to agree, it is so beautiful around here. Everybody always goes to the Smokies.... I can sit on my back porch and see some of the same mtn. range. Jan. 7, 2010 when my 97 yr old mama died...... we had 6 in. mixed snow and sleet on top of each other back & forth... you talk about a cold mess, it was. We couldn't go to the grave for days! They have closed down the ft. as far as soldier & wac training but the national guard has part of it and homeland security part of it. There is word from yrs. ago that when the gov't bought the land from the landowners, if they ever quit using it, the families that HAD to sell could buy it back. My grt. grandparents owned land there and both sets are buried there. I'd gladly reclaim their acreage there. haha.... never happening tho...w/the gov't. when do they ever do what they say they will do??!! Glad to help you. I so enjoy doing the cemetery walking, tho I don't get to do it like I did every day.
