If I am correct, you are the person who uploaded M "Cetoae Cherokee" Hinson's page. I was wondering if the tombstone you took a picture of is Cetoae's tombstone or actually the tombstone of Samuel Hinson as a lot of people online are speculating. I noticed that someone else put up a different tombstone for Samuel Hinson, so I am skeptical, but I just want to be sure. I am doing research on Cetoae, a direct ancestor of mine, and was wanting to clear this up in my mind as to the information about her tombstone.

RE: Sgt William F. Hinson
Sorry, but I don't have any further information on him. Everything that I gleaned from records I put into his memorial. Hinson is a common name in Union County, NC and Hinsons have been in that county for quite a few generations. I believe I did get William F. Hinson linked to his parents. You might look at their memorials and see if you can get information on them or other children they may have had. I am not related but many times memorials are done by family members, so you might find some relatives that way.

RE: John Burge
You are welcome. It was my pleasure. I always feel honored to fulfill a photo request of our soldiers, especially from the civil war era.
