|Mary Bob McClain||Mrs. M. J. Chapman|
Do you know anything about Mrs. M. J. Chapman who is buried at Mt. Nebo. I got this e-mail today.
I'm hoping this is my great grandmother Julie (July) Bailey Chapman. My family Barnes/Tripp is from Maury and Lewis counties. My grandmother was Melie Chapman Barnes and Julie was her mother. Hoping you could provide more information.

|Mark's Mom||RE: Memorials for others|
Hi there Laura,
Thank you for the kind words. No, I didn't know Victor or William Williams. When I was working on my family tree, I added "Williams" whenever I found one to find a grave. My grandmother was Genvera "Williams" Laundy. My great grandparents were Frederick and Anna Williams. After Frederick died Anna married Oliver Williams. Are you related to Victor or Williams ? Again thank you for your kind words.

That is so sad that animals run through cemeteries, but it is even sadder when people do it. They know better.
I thank you for your time in doing all of this and for being Find A Grave volunteer.
Thanks for the two new photos you added for Wm & Mary J.

You just added a photo to this memorial, but
I'm afraid it's the wrong photo--the names and dates don't match at all.
Could you please remove it?

Not sure if you meant to leave a message on my page or not. All I got was the heading.

|Ed Smith||RE: Thurman's|
Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it.
Barbara (Picknell) Thurman married Charles T. Thurman and they are my 4th g-grandparents. They both died near Pikeville, Bledsoe Co., TN. Barbara and Charles are buried in the Lone Cedar Cemetery which is a very small cemetery. I have talked to some wonderful people who have attempted to locate the cemetery without luck. They have found references to it, but were not able to physically locate it. It is located about 16 miles west of Pikeville in a grove of trees.
Charles served as a private in the Revolutionary war and is the son of Benjamin and Frances Thurman. Do any of these names sound familiar in your Thurman line..?? Charles and Barbara had 9 known children and I decend from their son John and Chloe (Rector) Thurman.
Let me know when your email service gets better and I will forward you more information on the Thurmans and maybe we can make a 'cousin connection'.

I already have tombstone pictures posted on my sighr of Henry,Leroy and Minnie and family pictures of Leroy and Minnie,my 1st cousin sent them to me awhile back when she had them placed,but she didnt send any of Marvin and I found a Social Sucurity death record of Marvin and I posted it under the note part on his sight and Im sure its his,but not 100% yet,but I can delete it if I find out different.Do you know your neighbor who takes care of the grave sight and if you can what is his name? You can send me a personal email if you like if you dont want to post his name for the public to view.Im also related to the Himes and would very much like the info and picture of them,Im also related to Runions and McNabb's too.Thanks so much for helping me and with the family tree Im doing which I started in 2008 when my Mom passed.

Thanks so much for the Photo of Marvin's tombstone.
I was hopeing there was a death date though,but it happens, and thanks for the info you added to the picture but I also have a question? There is a another son- Henry Lee Anderson born in 1945 and died 1955, so my question is? Would'nt Pauline be his 1st wife and my Grandma Minnie be his 2nd wife and maybe the tombstone just shares the name of both and he be buried some where else?,this is known to happen to.Is there any way you can find out for me sence you are in or around Maury County? This would help me on my family tree,Thanks alot.
