Thank you so very much for the gravesite photo of my grand uncle. He is buried in far away France and I am the only person alive that remembers him. I felt he was so alone there, instead of in the farmlands of Alabama where he belonged. It brought tears to my eyes to see the simple and beautiful cross that the military had placed for him. It was so very nice of you to take the photo for me. Thank you once again.

Kristi, thank you for the info on Amherst Lord Thompson buried in Iran. Was the quote an inscription on his gravestone? He was the son of my grx4 grandfather and died shortly after arriving in Iran to do missionary work almost immediately after becoming ordained and getting married. thanks! Linda
