Don't worry yourself with it. We are all not perfect all the time. It is a stand up marker with Elam on the back. I do not know the plot. I have posted it on Find A Grave. Thanks...Robie

Hi...I loved your bio. You are so right. I was able to contact the grandson of the above and he gave me a photo of his father's marker. It is there and you probably just blinked and it was gone. Thanks for trying. Volunteers are the best...Robie

A rather interesting marker. It appears to have been made with a wire formed to make the lettering in a concrete form. I noticed a few of those in the cemetery.

Thank you for your response. Myself and all 5 of my children are very grateful for your help. We all want to know what happened to my mother/their grandmother and possible other children she may have had being she was only around 26 years old. I didn't know she was also in a children's home. Interesting that I also ended up in a children's home also when my dad (Jesse Mervin Meadows Sr.)and her split up when I was around 2-3 years old (around 1954). My dad married my stepmother and saved me from being adopted out by getting me out of the children's home. I was slated to be adopted out to people my stepmother called "the Fosters". Being that their name or "foster" parents. It seems really strange to me that she never attempted to contact me ever! Sometimes I have wondered if she died shortly after the breakup? I didn't even know my stepmother was not my real mother until I was about 11-12 years old when I found my baby book stored in a box in our attic. I confronted her and she said she thought I wouldn't understand until I was old enough. I wonder if she kept my baby book there on purpose waiting for me to find it as I played in our attic a lot when I got old enough. I was not ever able to get any information out of my Meadows side of our family about my mother and at the time I knew nothing about when Goddards were. I was actually so upset about it that I refused to search any until my children got old enough to ask. So I have been searching for 20 years to no avail. I don't know how to find a death record of women as they change their last name when married and then died under that new last name. I guess the city that people die in never report back to the deceased person's birth city for records purposes.

You have a headstone picture of Robert Box Helm. I am related to his mother through my Zimmerman lineage. May I give you credit and use your photographs in my ancestory.com family tree?

I noticed on your entry for Beulah Potter for Fairfield Cemetery you photographed both sides of the headstone. Her father in law Russell Oscar Potter is on the back side. I was wondering if you could post your photo on my memorial for him. If you would like me to do a formal request I can that as well. I am working on learning the death date for Russell's wife Nellie Payne Potter and will add a memorial for her when I do.
Thanks for your help.
