|Marty in Goshen NY||RE: Margaret Gaston Moffat|
Greycourt Cemetery is off my beaten path and I may not get there for many months, if ever. Might she have remarried and be buried under her second husband's name? Try searching for Margaret Gaston using the "include maiden name" option. Good luck.

Much appreciate the parental information you sent for Cora.
Have located parents and linked her to their memorials.

|Kathy||2nd time - Links|
It appears that in enter the exact code I embedded the link - ops.
Using the code below:
A) remove the space between the "<" and the "a"
B) replace the X's with the memorial number
C) replace "name" with the individual's name
D)remove the space between the "<" and the "/".
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>
The help section has a tutorial on this. You might want to visit "How do I add a link from one memorial to another?" under the "Submitting Information / Creating Memorials"

Thank you for asking. I've included the link code to Elizabeth Price's memorial below as an example. Just replace her memorial # and name with that of the person you are creating a link for. I hope this is helpful. -Kathy

|Marty in Goshen NY||RE: Thomas Moffat|
According to the records I found, the wife of the Thomas Moffat who died 1805 was Susannah, not Margaret.

I did not create that site, but did leave a message for 'CATHY' about the surname spelling and to add the information about her father to her site.
PS. I just added the photo of headstone.

There is no visible marker in her plot. No other Jacksons are buried around her, and the transcription does not show Isaac Jackson buried in the cemetery.

You have Lydia Swayze Dusenberry #60605997 listed as the child of Israel Swayze# 138888636.
Israel would have only been 9 years old at the time of her birth?
Lydia Swayze Corwin #148858850 is Israelís daughter.

Of course I will and as for being understanding.."They write books about things we don't know" as my Mother would say and the only way you learn is to read and ask questions. There is no such thing as a stupid question and all comments are helpful at the very least..You send the request and if I am in the area I will be happy to go looking for them

I use a chalk paste that I make prior to going to the cemetery..And I always have my water pump to clean all of it off and repaire what we can on the stone...Have been working at this for over thirty years and try to get the stones that are going to be lost to us forever if we don't gps mark and read them. I am here to say that the stone was not damaged any more and when I left it was in better shape..Thanks for your concern though. It shows that there are people out there athat care besides myself that is

I don't find them anywhere around here but they may have and unmarked grave. You could contact the City Clerk at Coffeyville and see if she can find them in the records.

I have sent a transfer for Karl Staahl's memorial to you. I added the other Staahls to my list for Hope Cemetery, Corning and will give it a try finding them next time I go there. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!

|Severian||Deckers - Bradford Village Cemetery|
Hi Dr. J,
Hoping you can help me out here. It looks like you pretty much did that whole cemetery, at least the Deckers. I'm wondering if you have access to more, because I have (sometimes unconfirmed) information that several are immediate family. Specifically (w. birth years):
Based on 1850 US census & 1855 NYS census:
Dennis (1773 - US cen '50: ca. 1783. NYS cen. '55: ca 1779) - father
Mary (1792) - mother (maybe a diff. Mary?)
James (1824) - son
George W (1837) - son
And a weaker one, but may be correct. Different cemetery, still Steuben County:
Sarah Ann (Decker) Trumbull (ca. 1821) mem. #105404829
Please let me know if you have anything more on any of the Deckers buried there. Thank you.

Unfortunately, it's not there. It was either broken and removed or more likely, buried under the grass. There were a lot of them that were like that.
