Surname Correction for Jacob Kiem
Thanks so much for taking a photograph of Jacob Kiem's stone and creating his Find A Grave entry. I had been searching for it. He was the husband of my great grand aunt Mary Schmidt Keim. Although his stone has the surname as Kiem, all of his family members and he as well in his census records and city directories has his last name as Keim. Would it be possible to change his entry in Find A Grave#78588061 to Keim or if that is not possible to cite it as Keim (Kiem)? Thanks so much. Karyl Schmidt.

Michael Hernandez
William R. McDaniel, Find A Grave Memorial# 7758830
Hello Mr. Cusick.
I am most interested in gathering info related to the military (Army Air Corps) service of Mr. McDaniel. He served in the same Bomb Squadron (492nd) as did my late grandfather.

I am establishing a database for the bomb group of which Mr. McDaniel and my grandfather belonged (Seventh), and have also created a website where I've displayed photos, documents, etc. that I've collected from others who served with the group. www.dainthecbi.com

With your assistance, I'd be pleased to put together a page within the site on behalf of Mr. McDaniel that would honor his efforts on behalf of our country.

Please contact me at: coolmex5@gmail.com

I hope to hear from you, sir.

Regards, Michael Hernandez

RE: Catherine A Greene Burroughs
No Mike,
I am not related to any of the deceased in Camp Waldschmidt Cemetery.
However, I am a long-time genealogist, historian, author and publisher.
Last June thru August of 2013, I documented and photographed all burials in Kerr Cem, Symmes Twp.
Recently I gave Carol Simms a 5 volume set of books I prepared on Kerr Cem.
Sequenced by Lot and Grave, not by alphabet.
My reference book is the "Hamilton County, Ohio Burial Records, Volume 21, Symmes Township Cemetery Index, 1800s-2012", Edited by Carol Sims and May Remler, in 2013.
In my spare time, I am using this same book to verify, correct and add burial entries in Camp Waldschmidt Cem.
If you would like to work with me on this project, let me know.
When complete, I will turn over my research to Carol Sims.

John Zettel
I just checked a newspaper source, and this is the correct John Zettel as his wife's obit has him listed as an architect. Sure wonder why the death dates on the other sources are so different. Again, thanks for any help!

John Zettel
I'm doing some research on a Cincinnati architect by the name of John Zettel and I'm pretty sure this is the same guy as the death dates are exact, though every source I look at gives his birth year as 1881. For some reason the site was not showing the photo you have up so I couldn't see if your date of 1867 was actually on the stone. Can you help me? Thanks! If it is actually 1867, I will send the correct info to the other sources. I wonder if perhaps he was interred later, I've found that before. Thanks for your help!

RE: Schultz's from Norwood
Here ya go, Mike:

http://drc2.libraries.uc.edu/

There are birth and death records from Cincinnati; 1865-1912. Not much info is listed, but it may be enough to fill in some blanks. I've found some cool stuff, there. It's a little tedious to search, but worth it!

I'll have a look thru your Schultz's again and see if there's a link!
