Octave St. Peter at Togus National Cemetery

You are welcome for the photos of the gravestone for Octave St.Peter. I will update his information on my "Togus National Cemetery" family "tree" on but to get his memorial here on findagrave updated you will have to contact "OldWolf600" as he created the memorial and has edit control over it.

You can probably just "copy/paste" the same public message to him ;)

Sincerely, Tim Cooper

re: Robert and Teresa Organ
Hi there!

I went to the FindAGrave page for the Catholic Cemetery in Truckee because I was trying to find the cemetery I had a glimpse of off the freeway on the way to Reno this month.

I saw your two photo requests and would like to help you with some info. You said that your records indicated they were buried in the old Catholic cemetery in NEVADA CITY. Truckee is the town and is in NEVADA COUNTY. However, I did a quick search for you. There is a Saint Canice Cemetery that's the old Catholic cemetery in NEVADA CITY. This is the link: . They have a church there as well, and I would actually recommend calling the rectory (church) and asking them whom is in charge of the cemetery that could look up burial records to make sure your two people are buried there. Their number is 530-265-2049.

I am used to doing genealogy and have been putting stuff on FindAGrave and looking things up for many, many years. I hope this is of some help to you!

You are very welcome, glad I could help .... and save all that gasoline. :-) It was late in the day by the time I found them, so the light was low. I will try to get some better shots next time I am over there.

RE: Thank you!
I am sorry, I made a mistake here. It was another burial place in the mausoleum that I had photographed that day that had the two names. I should have double checked before I sent the message. She is buried alone.

You are welcome. She is located in the mausoleum at Gethsemane, CM 365-2. There is another name on the crypt without a date of death, apparently still living.
