RE: Thomas Nunn Pace,
Hi there, I am also a descendant of Thomas Nunn Pace (through his son Joseph Clark Pace). I actually have never been to the cemetery and I will have to do some looking in my files to find out where I got his memorial information from. It was most likely from another family member.

If you would like to exchange information please email me at

Sharon Burns
Pace or Page
Hello!!! My name is Sharon Burns, maiden name Page. The pictures on the Norris Cemetary page are correct. She is Mattie Page and her Husband Noah is resting beside her. Noah's father William Page is on the other side of him with his military marker. The stones have pretty much deteriorated over the years which is why we placed the nameplates in front of them. Thank you for your photos.

Sue Lynn McDaniel
Whitlow Cemetery in Warren County, KY
I visited the Whitlow Cemetery this morning. Kentucky temperatures are 100+ today, but since I knew a lady that was aged 80+ who was willing to show me the location, we went. Later today I'll try to get the photos posted of stones I found.
Thank you for the info you have previously posted. It made my work easier. I need to go back as we could not last long in the heat and I did not see my third great grandmother's stone. I did see & photograph my second great grandparents' stones (Stephen & Elizabeth Lowry) and my third great grandfather's stone (Pleasant Whitlow). Also a few others. One I need to compare family Bible records with, because I don't believe you say it in 1988!
ANYWAY --- THANKS!! And look for more info to be added to the Whitlow entries you have created.

RE: Sanders
It's difficult to identify whether they are one and the same. The photo I have was given to me by my grandparents. It was a reproduction, so I assume my great-grandmother knew who it was in the picture.

RE: William F. Porter # 67747559
My source for this information is the death certificate for William which clearly shows burial on 1 April 1950 in Forsyth Memorial Park, Winston-Salem, NC. Funeral director was Frank Vogler & Sons. Here's a link to Forsyth Memorial Park:

There's a phone number as well a email contact information at this website.

Hope this helps.

Freeda, Thank you for the message. I am still trying to find info about her and Gilberts brothers Edger and Robert. I think I have JM Holland being buried at East Cemetery up your way. Any help would be helpful. I remember you telling me about being in San Antonio. Sorry for the loss. Jim

Freeda, Man do I feel like the idiot of the south. If I had read I would have known that Gilbert's parents were my gg grandparents. Charley was my g grandmother Bertha's mother. Do you know where Charley and JM Holland were living when the house fire killed her? Also do you know where they are buried. So many questions. Please email me. Thank you, Jim

Rosemound Cemetery
Hi! Yes I live in the area. We are not kin to the other McKays But we have had many people ask. They must know a lot of people. I saw that Rosemound was mispelled on your virtual cemeteries. When you look up Ada Rose Lindley Wright, it comes up as Rose as her last name. Go to the cemetery and put in her name to see what I am talking about. Do you want the pic of her stone? Thanks, Cathy :)

I'm so overwhelmed with trying to answer emails I can't remember who I've answered and who I've not. My internet system was down for about 3 weeks and I'm swamped with emails. Anyway, if I haven't sent you one this is what happened. Did you ever get into my Holt site? Let me know by personal email and I'll send you the password.
