Otto McClurg
I put in an edit for his date of death. On the memorial it says he died Oct 3, 1915. It stated in the Sept 30th edition of the Ardmore paper he was buried on Sept 30, 1915. This would be bad if he was buried alive. Thanks

Have you joined the Mayflower Society yet? You can if you have documentation that you are a BLOOD relative of Wm Bradfor. I've done it. I'm related to TWO original Mayflower pilgrims. Carole

Norman /Huffman
Just to let you know, I have found the Sarah that married a Huffman.

Sarah Elizabeth Norman married Alexander Wiseman Huffman, and they have a daughter, Mary Lucy Huffman buried at Norman Valley Cemetery. This little girl was only 3 yrs. old when she died.

Alexander Wiseman Huffman and Sarah Elizabeth Norman are buried at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Van Zandt Co. TX. They have 3 or 4 more children besides Mary Lucy.
If you will go to the Norman Valley Cem. you will see all the tombstones have been found and pictures taken of them. A cousin of mine who lives in TX took all these pictures. Turns out that Sarah Norman was a second wife to Yewen Norman, not WP Norman as I thought. WP was a brother to Emily Norman Chance. They had his dates posted wrong on Find A Grave.

This cousin of mine has been digging for information also, and has come up with a lot of new info. on the Norman family.

I am going to look into the Huffman side now, and leave the Norman's to him for awhile.

I lost your e-mail when I was forced to go to the new yahoo mail, so I had to post this through Find A Grave
Hope you are doing well. Pat

Green Lynch photo
I was excited to find the photo of Green Lynch earlier today. Then, I learned that it is a picture of Edward Green Lynch. That same picture is on Edward Green Lynch's memorial here at Find A Grave.

Thanks for your efforts, but this isn't Green Lynch, my gr-grandfather.

Have you noticed there are two of us? It seems that you were on a few days before me, but my Password was accepted. I just ran into you.

I have entered 70 memorials, posted 58 photos and manage 128 memorials. We have none in common.

Do you have a suggestion?

It's a war out here; four of us jump all over requests for that cemetery. But you're very welcome and I'm glad you're pleased. Zoma is in a nice area; too bad I got there just as the sun went behind a large tree. cb

Re: William Henry & Retta Cooper Kilmer photo
You contributed a photo of William Henry Kilmer and Maggie 'Retta' Cooper Kilmer that was part of an article in the newspaper about their 60th Wedding Anniversary. I am anxious to get a copy of that article and would appreciate knowing the name & location of the newspaper and the date the article & picture was published in that newspaper...then I can order a copy from the local library. The Kilmers are distant relatives of mine and are part of my research of my family tree. I would appreciate any info you can provide. Thanks!

RE: Thank you so much...
You are very welcome. As you can see, the metal marker will not last much longer. part of the first name is already missing. Just for information he is in Block 39 Plot 9. The red border piece that is in front of the grave, there is one in front of the grave beside him but there is no marker. Next time I go to the office I'll check and see who is there. there is a Riley on the other side of that one also.

William Stone
I have transferred William Stone to you. I am not related to anyone I take photo's for, so if you need another transfer just let me know. I should warn you transfers could take a few days as I don't have a lot of free time. You can use the photo any way you wish. I believe gravestones and genealogy research should be shared freely without strings or restrictions, so go for it. Thanks Cheryl
