Here is the link to the Henry Meadows reared by Thomas Jordan Meadows and Alice Crawford Meadows

He was born in 1899 and died in McDowell county WV in 1955. He was my great grandfather.

RE: Walter Birk Meadows, Sr.
That's correct. Here is a rundown:

Frances Meadows I m. Mary Kesiah Bell
Frances Meadows II m. Frances Bush
Anthony F. Meadows m. Mary "Polly" Shumate
Ward Meadows m. Mahulda "Hulda" Ann Hazeltine Ball
Ward Benjamin Meadows m1. Genora A. Rorrer
Walter Birk Meadows, Sr. m. Mary Magdaline Bower

Unfortunately, Anthony F. Meadows is buried in an umarked grave, and the only one that i knew of that knew exactly where he was buried has since passed. It's a shame that he doesn't have a tombstone. I have tombstone pictures for Francis Meadows/Francis Bush if you would like. Haven't got around to loading them yet.

I do not have Abraham in my database. Do you have documented proof that he is a sibling of Anthony, because if you do I would for sure like to include him in my database.

Here is my database on the Internet. I am in the process of enhancing my data for Ward Benjamin's family (adding more names, middle names, dates, counties, etc. So those changes won't be uploaded for about a week or so, but feel free to browse around.

Oscar,
Actually, I didn't delete the photo, because Find A Grave wouldn't let me since you added it. When you get a chance, go in there and take care of it for me.
Thanks!

Walter Birk Meadows
Oscar,
I replaced your tombstone photo of Walter Birk Meadows, Sr. at the Hill Cemetery in Pipestem State Park. My photo was taken sometime before yours, and is not as aged. He was my wife's grandfather. Also, I added a photo of him and his wife Mary Magdaline (Bower) Meadows.
Best Regards,
David Jones

Shumate/Powers
Hi Oscar,
I am wondering about Clarinda Powers Shumate. When did she die? Were her parents Sim and Lucinda Croley Powers?
Thanks,
April

RE: jim shumate
i also heard that his birth year was 1857, his granddaughter who was a sister to my grandma had it changed on his stone, the story was so no one would know it was him and had jim instead of full name james

RE: Meadows.
Hi:
Misplaced the 'Meadows' file but I did unlock Daves' relatives in the "Virtual" Cemetery I set up. Only two there.

Meadows.
Hey there, welcome aboard.
I am not a "Meadows" but, started doing some genalogy for a friend, and sort of got bogged down with other stuff. He is a WVa Meadows, Charleston and a bit around the Kanawha County area. Do you have any relatives over that area?
I started putting every Meadows I came across on "Find A Grave" so if I have put any of yours on please let me know so I can transfer themover to you.
Happy Researching, Bud
