Minnie Herman FAG #114823341
Just of answer your question, my Great Aunt's maiden name was Coleman. Her first husband was Ira Bigler, and her second one was David Herman. However, Minnie already has Find A Grave memorial # 11671136 created Sep 3, 2005. Thanks. MarGene

I see the stone that you added for Margaret Plummer. How would I add her obituary to the post?

Margaret was my husband's grandmother.

Thank you

Would you be amenable to transferring over the memorials of John Hamilton Kneff and Alice Kneff, my great-great grandparents? They are located in the Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City for Colorado. Their find a grave numbers are 114451698 and 114451671, respectively. Thank you.

RE: Cox Family
You are very welcome! I read your bio and loved it. This does become something that gets under your skin and you just do it. I too look at all those baby headstones and wonder. Someone asked me once what I did one weekend and told them that my husband and I visited cemeteries. They thought it weird but when I told them what we did they said it was interesting. Again you are very welcome.

Hi Beth in Colorado,

Thanks very much for the information you posted regarding Edward and Amy (or Emily) Howes. I also appreciate your offer to send me copies of their obituaries, but that isn't necessary; I received copies today from the Library in Canon City.

I really appreciate your help.

RE: Memorial Deletion
Beth I am still around, my life is full of business lately and I hate it. Things are finally calming down. I will take care of those two memorials today and let you know when I get the pictures posted. Sorry I have been out of the loop.

Susan A Huff
Memorial #114787429
Thank you for posting the picture of Susan Howland's gravestone. She is my maternal grandmother. She died from complications of childbirth when my dad was born, March 13, 1926. I believe it must have been a difficult birth as I think he was a large baby and his collarbone was broken during delivery. Her birthdate would have been after March 13, as Dad's birth certificate gives her age at the time of his birth as 24.

At the time of her death, Susan had 5 sisters and 3 brothers still living, according to her obituary. The obituary did not list her birthdate.

I am sad, never to have known Grandma Howland. According to her obituary and the number in attendance at her service, she was very well thought of by the citizens of Beaver Creek (Penrose?).

Memorial #79510907
Regarding memorial #79510907 for Eldon Howland:

Eldon "Skip" Howland was my dad's half-brother. Their father was Joseph L Howland of Penrose, CO. Uncle Skip had two sisters, Virginia Howland (Templeton) and Cevilla Howland. All three are deceased. Grandpa Joe passed away in the early 1970's. Skip's mom died of childbirth and Grandpa Joe later married Dad's mom, Susan Gierhart. She also died of childbirth when Dad was born - March 13, 1926. Dad passed away Oct 29, 2011. Coincidently, this is the date Eldon Howland's Memorial was created.

Ann Koch
RE: Duplicate of ANYBODY
Not a problem, Beth. Duplications just happen sometimes and seldom intentionally.

I truly appreciate all the effort that went into photographing all those Lakeside headstones. I'm very partial to Lakeside (and Greenwood) since my grandmother and brother are buried in Lakeside and my Koch grandparents and great-grandparents are buried in Greenwood. I've photographed many of the Custer county cemeteries in past years, so I can appreciate the effort it takes on both ends -- the cemetery AND on Findagrave. Ann

KNAUFF Entries in CO
Thank-you for creating the Memorials for the KNAUFFs listed in Canon City, Fremont Co., CO USA. I have searched far & wide for these folks, knowing they were there, but not exactly which cemetery -- if any. Read the notes that there has finally evolved a historical society there and am pleased to see work being done in that region of the country. Thank-you again.

Yvonneda Jean Riddle
Yvonda Clements Riddle Find A Grave Memorial# 79510754
I am still researching this lady and running in to some conflicting information. She has a memorial in Highland Cemetery, Stamford, Texas, but her death certificate shows Union-Highland in Colo. I have asked Find A Grave to delete the Highland, Stamford memorial since the owner is inactive.
Her birth record shows her father as Jerry Wayne Pace and mother as Martha Louise Kee; however her death certificate shows father as Charles T Clements and mother as Martha Louise Kee and her mother Martha Kee was the informant on the death certificate. Her marriage record shows Yvonneda J Pace as her maiden name. So I am not sure which is her real father.
Also sent come corrections on the edit tab earlier about her name, dob & dod.
