|Martha (Mallett) Sisler||Susannah Dollison|
Carl, you have a photo request for Susan Dollison at St. John's Cemetery in Noble County, Ohio. I could respond through the "report problem," but I can write more here.
I have photographed all of the stones at St. John's Cemetery in Noble County. Susannah is not there. Several stones are missing, so I have contacted people who have the records, too. Look at memorials #133556250 Nancy Sterling, a granddaughter, and #62309800 Elizabeth Sterling who is a daughter of Thomas and Susannah Dollison. Susannah died in Wood County, Ohio and is buried there, memorial #97785111. This is not unusual, as you know, for the surviving parent to go to the home of a child and to be buried away from a spouse.
I hope this helps you solve a problem. Let me know what you think about all of this so I can update my records accordingly.

Today I added a photo on your web page for Thomas Dollison. He was born in Fayette County, PA, not Ohio, as noted on that page. Also, other children I have documents for are John Taylor Dollison, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Ruth. Details available, if needed.

I fulfilled your photo request for Lester.
Was it what you were looking for?

Hi - I just posted photos of Emeline's grave that I took this afternoon in Brimley, MI to fill your request. I believe her name is wrong. If you look at the detail of her headstone, the typeface on the name Johnson looks VERY close to Dollison. The base of the stone, however, clearly reads as JOHNSON, and the footstone clearly shows the initials E. J.
I contacted the person in charge of her memorial to share this information with them as well.
Hope this helps!

|Robert Wall||John L. Daubenspeck|
Do you have any info or know someone who has info on a John L. Daubenspeck (1917 - 1963)? He was in the Air Force and stationed in Newfoundland in the early 60's. Vern R. and Plummer W. Daubenspeck were his brothers.

My wife and I were at Baptist Corners Cemetery on April 30, 2012 and could not find a headstone for Martha. We found James Dollison which you already have. James is my wife's great, great, great, grandpa. If you have any more Dollison info please let us know.

The link to George W. Dollison as her father is based on her death certificate which lists parents as "George W. Dollison and Catherine Jefferson." The links you provided go to F.W. Dollison & Kate Dollison. Can you provide documentation that these are her parents?

My claim of the photo request for Emma Brown will expire tomorrow, but I am still waiting on the cemetery manager to get back to me with her burial location. He's usually prompt in these matters, but this time, I have sent two e-mail messages. Anyway, if the claim does expire, I am still going to try to get your photo once I have the location (assuming someone else doesn't immediately beat me to it).

|Bonnie Stinson||Daisy Dollison|
Daisy is located in the Evergreen Section, Lot 441, Space 4, but there is no headstone for her. :-(
I did take a picture from a distance of the area where there should be a headstone. That is the one I will post for Daisy.

I finished completely photographing this cemetery a few months ago, and I also copied the transcriptions that were done in the 1940's and again in 1983. Unfortunately, this person's name didn't appear on the transcription and I did not find a stone for her. On one side of James Dollison is John J. Johnson, and on the other side is David G. Barker. There are 7 illegible stones in that row (illegible in the 1940's also), but they were further down from James Dollison. A 1868 stone would probably still be standing.
What source did you use for her burial information?

I searched the entire cemetery and could not find the grave. My husband and I walked the cemetery and did not find any Dollison graves. I returned home and check online to see if there was a listing of interments since this is an historic cemetery. I found the following website which you might find useful. It did not show any Dolisons. http://www.greenvillesc.gov/Culture/History/cemeteries/CemeteryViewer.aspx
