RE: Isabella Logan
Hello again,
Thank you, that would be amazing to see their obituaries. Being in England, all I can do is trawl the internet for snippets of info for any of my ancestors. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Maria

RE: Isabella Logan
Hello,

Isabella (nee Bewick) is the sister of my 2nd great grandfather, George Bewick. This is a copy of the entry of marriage in the England & Wales, FreeBMD Marriage Index, 1837-1915 (database on-line)

Name: Isabela Bewick
Registration Year: 1860
Registration Quarter: Jan-Feb-Mar
Registration district: Durham
Parishes for this Registration District: View Ecclesiastical Parishes associated with this Registration District
Inferred County: Durham
Volume: 10a
Page: 324
Records on Page: Name
Isabela Bewick
Patrick Logan
Thornton Scover
Jane Wallace

I have a copy of their marriage certificate from 21 Feb 1860 which shows:

St Cuthberts' Chapel, Durham.
Patrick Logan. 19. Bachelor. Coal Miner. Shincliffe. Son of Miles Logan (Dec'd). Coal Miner.
Isabella Bewick. 21. Spinster. St Giles, New Durham. D'ter of George Bewick. Coal Miner. Witnesses - Mary Ann Todd & Peter Logan.

Hope this helps and you can correct an entry.
Kind regards,
Maria

Ancestor question
On the memorial for Peter Mourer (#90628190) buried at St. Pauls UCC, Numidia, Pa you've indicated that Peter was the son of Johan Peter and Catharina Leiby Mourer. Do you have some evidence that supports this? I can find the parents in other records but I can't find that they had a son named Peter. I suspect this is correct, but I'd like to see more. Thanks

Gallagher grave St Josephs Northumberland County
Hello,

Your listing for 138118132 is the grave of John Gallahger, Mary McGee Gallahger, Patrick McGee and Catherine McGee McGee. All four are buried there. Another person has put up the story under 139495990 in the same graveyard, with no picture of the grave, however, you have the picture of the grave, and they have the story!

John Gallagher was my great-grandfather. Patrick McGee was my great-great-grandfather.

Thanks

Beverly Benfer
possible burial site for George Washington Stokes
You noted that George Washington Stokes had moved to South Dakota and that his burial was unknown. Could Find a Grave memorial #23614552 for "G. W. Stokes" in Meade County, S.D. be your George? The dates seem right. --- Beverly

Trish Strauser Johnson
Anna Maria Bauscher Strauser
I have questions regarding the dates of Annas birth and death. The information in Ancestry to get to this site says 1798-1880 which correlates with what I have found with her living with son Amos until he moved to Missouri then daughter Mary Strauser Leiby until her death 10 1880. Then when you get to this site it says May 4 1782 - Mar 5 1865. She id often mixed up with the Maria Hollenbach 1798-1865 who married another George Strauser. They are buried at Zions in Berks County.

I am also very interested in the information to show that she was a Bauscher befor she married Strauser.

Thanks so much for what you do. Trish

BRUCE STINE GRAVE PHOTO
Thank you so much for the time and effort you took to search for my baby grand uncle, Bruce Stine. He was only a couple of weeks old and the death cert. does state he was buried there and I feel sure it would be next to his step grandparents (George and Mary Wills)but apparently it is under the earth )o: If there is a space next to the large Wills head stone I will try to get someone to take a poke with them and see if they hit anything solid and, if so, I will put in a new request if they don't or can't take the picture. Thanks for trying so hard. I appreciate it. Sue (SM)

J Martin
Freewill Cemetery, Columbia, PA
Hi, Thank you for looking for George Fenstermacher;s (Memorial# 120040881) headstone.

The burial location I found listed it as "Freewill UB (United Baptist) Cemetery, Roaring creek, Columbia, PA." Is there perhaps a church cemetery in the area?

Thanks, JMartin

RE: Rose Dunleavy Mangold
Thank you. You can also find the names of her siblings on the 1910 census. Her middle name was unique Rose Immacula Dunleavy I looked up her siblings for Rose's son, Joseph, back in 2003 when he was in Pottstown Hospital. They only show up in 1910 Kulpmont/Mt. Carmel under John and Margaret Dunleavy. I don't know why. You have an impressive number of memorials!
