I saw your Happy Birthday flowers you left on
Charles Lee Peterson's memorial. Well, I left a stone photo on his, and wifes Glenda memorials. Guess we're about done with these folks! Like your Bio photo, you look so mellow.

PS to my previous message
Also, as one other person has commented already, Elizabeth Allred Horner's dates pre-date the use of photography by quite a few years. Again, it's a wonderful photo so I hope the subject can be identified.

Photo of Elizabeth Allred Horner
Hi Linda,
I don't believe this could be a photo of Elizabeth Allred Horner. If her dates are accurate (1747-1823) the fashion she is wearing is completely wrong for the time period. The style of dress, the large plaid of the fabric, the little white collar, the undersleeves, the severe hairstyle parted in the middle are all styles that were worn in the Civil War era--definitely not earlier than about 1850 and probably more about 1855-1860 at the earliest. It's a great photo. I hope it can be identified.

James M. Burnett

I didn't know if you were related to James Burnett or not. I posted a picture of him when he was very young on his memorial. Many missionaries serving in the Athens, AL area stayed in the home of my husband's grandparents, Charles Christopher Reyer and his wife Jessie Mae Shannon Reyer. This picture belonged to them. It has his name written on the back.

Hi Linda,

Would you mind linking a few of my relatives? You have a memorial for my grand aunt, 66273553, Beth Louise Ellis Shupe. Can you link her to her parents please? Claude Albert Ellis, 116844558 and Blanche Octavia Huband, 116844619.

Thank you,

RE: James Allred Mountian View cemetery
I tried to find the grave (last summer) for James Allred and couldn't, but I am thinking that you might want to try a Mountain View Cemetery in Lethbridge Alberta. I had a request for the Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain View Alberta last summer and it turned out it was the one in Lethbridge. Just a thought.

Norman Keaton
Find A Grave volunteers
Sarah Keaton Peterson was the sister of Alice Keaton Larson, whose brother was Joseph Norman Keaton.

Alice Keaton Larsen filled out an application for a Marker-Headstone for her brother (see below). Joseph is not on your Find A Grave, nor according to the Veterans Administration National Database, he is not buried in any National Cemetery or on any private land, such as Ogden. He was a veteran of WWI.

Question: Do volunteers go through the entire burial records kept at the cemetery office and create a Find A Grave even when they cannot find a marker or headstone? If yes, then Joseph is not buried in Ogden. If no, then there is hope that Joseph's burial record can be found.

Question: How are burial records recorded? Alphabetically or chronologically?

I know that when volunteers find a grave they can look it up in the burial records and use that information to supplement what is on the headstone.

Alice Keaton Larsen's Application for headstone or marker for Joseph Norman Keaton.
