|Patricia McLellan||Roy L Austin|
I have some census information regarding Roy. He is listed on the 1910 US Census as the son of William H and Julia (Peterson) Austin with the same birth year as listed here.
This would actually make a lot of sense seeing as how John Austin died in 1889 and Sarah would have been 60 years old in 1901.
Please advise and I will update my records according to what you determine.
Thank you so much.

This is embarrassing. I have no memory of sending such a message. I know I posted the photo but don't have any idea why I wouldn't have posted the photo of him if I had it. I see the message on the memorial. Is it possible that another "Dave" sent this message to you?

Gertie Potts Woolworth was daughter of John E Potts [1853-1881]; John was younger brother of my maternal great grandfather William Clark Potts [1846-1887]. I am researching their father James McCuen Potts; there is very little information on him or his ancestors. Your 2010 memorial note to Gertie encouraged me to inquire about the Potts connection. You mentioned photos, by chance were there any of this Potts family?? or information that might be helpful to me? I very much appreciate your reply..many thanks!! Lynda

This is just a suggestion, but I believe that David Woolworth , who died before the 1850 census in NY,
& Mary Porter Woolworth who died after the 1865 Herkimer Co NY census & before the 1870 Herkimer Co NY census,
& son Solomon, are all buried in the Church Street Cemetery with son Clarence "Clarrancy".
another son Richard P Woolworth, died 1903 in Kansas City MO, and is buried in the Union Cemetery. thanks.

Hi Colleen ~ I'm a photo volunteer, and I have photos of Powers and Hard family stones in Floyd Cemetery, Sioux City that I am struggling to match correctly to the cemetery directory. Are you related? If so, would you be able to help me sort these out? My email is firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to contact me that way. Thanks so much, Sheri Ross

|Peggy Tanner McCollester||George Tanner and wives|
I have photos of grave markers for George Tanner and his two wives, Lucy Skyes and Polly. George's can be read (already added it), Lucy's is hard to read, but you can just make out her name, Lucy. Then there is Polly, also hard to read.

|EveyBl||Barzillai Willey - #61839335|
Hello, I noticed that you have listed Barzillai Sr.'s date of death as 1771. What documentation do you have to show this as his date of death? I believe that many online trees have erroneously picked up this date because they saw an estate record in his name for this date. But, if you look at that specific record, you will see that Barzillai Sr. is very much alive at the time, deeding property from his father's estate to Abigail Tolman/Tallman. I have yet to find documentation with the death date or location for either Barzillai Sr. or wife Joanna. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks!

My hubby and I recently completely photographed Cove Cemetery in Hadlyme, and have several times tried to find Barzillai Willey's grave since there is a photo request. We widened our search and discovered what EveyBl wrote to you, that he is probably not buried in CT at all. Please put "unknown" for Barzillai the first's place of burial. Our goal is to accurately preserve our cemeteries for future generations. Thanks for your help!

|Brian Foote||Great work Colleen|
Thank you for your work on this! Great info.
Have you ever discovered any info regarding Caleb M. Foote's father Isaac Foote (1741 - 1826) being a soldier in the Revolutionary War? I don't have much info at all, only what I can find on Ancestry.
