RE: Rudy O'Brian
You are very welcome. Just so you know there are easily over 6,000 internments in Calvary cemetery. If you can contact the cemetery to get a better idea where the other people you requested are located I will be happy to go back and photograph them.

RE: Fiacco Antonio
Yes, photos are added to Antonio Fiacco's memorial. This is all quite strange. Sara added the name, no dates, in 2009. I added photos in 2011 but have no idea why I didn't add the second name from the inscription on the stone, but I'm quite sure that I would have sent a message to Sara and asked her to add the dates for Emilia, which are still missing. I see you sent Sara a message in 2011 which is still on her page. Don't know what to make of all this, but if I can be of further assistance, let me know. Alice

RE: Pettis
You're welcome!
I actually didn't think these photos turned out that well, due to the reflective nature of the face of the headstone, as well as the sun's position. I was possibly going to reshoot them when I go back to Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery, and go in the morning, to see if it's any better. If I do get better photos, I will replace those existing ones. Of course, I am rather picky, LOL.

Your Photo Request for Jana La Cava
I fulfilled your request for this photo, and while the names do not match (and maybe you know about this), the cemetery office has confirmed that this is where Jana is buried.

For a transfer,

Please go to the desired memorial page you would like...

On the top-right hand side of the page, you'll see an EDIT tab...

Click on that EDIT tab...

The next page has a list of links...

Click on the Suggest a correction line...

On the next page, there is a text that box, type your Find A Grave name and Find A Grave number...and the relationship you have with the deceasedů

Thank you for your help

Philip Busone - Request
I received your requset for Philip in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY. I did some online research to no avail. The listed phone number is not in service. I drove over to Calvary and found office hours by appointment only thru the Catholic Diocese of Albany, NY. I called them (518-463-0134) and was advised to contact the historian by email at
If you wish to contact them and get grave locations, I will be glad to revisit and photograph for you. Jeff

Iva P Bates @ North Hardyston Cemetery

I uploaded a photo for Iva. Her husband is also on the marker if you'd like to add him. Let me know when you are finished and I add the photos (regular and military) to his memorial.

RE: Giuseppa torro viviano
You're welcome. I hope you are able to get some additional information. I just recently got some info from Laurel Grove about my ancestors, the last of whom was buried in the family plot in 1962. The first one was buried in 1892. I thought they were going to charge me to look it up but they didn't. That was a nice surprise!

I don't mind going to Cedar Lawn. It is a peaceful, historic cemetery.

RE: Giuseppa torro viviano

I went to Cedar Lawn today and reviewed the Viviano plot. There isn't anything there to indicate exactly who "Mother" is but her marker is right up against one of the others and is obviously in that plot. I didn't find anything new either.

I think your best hope is to write to the cemetery.

RE: Giuseppa torro viviano

I will take a look next time I'm there. I don't think there were any other markers but I'll poke around in the dirt and see if I can find any.

Also, you may want to get the plot card for this grave from the cemetery office. They have plot cards and individual burial cards. I think they'll copy them for you for a reasonable fee. Their records are pretty good considering the age of the cemetery.

The plot cards tell you (mostly) everyone who is buried in the plot and on what date they were buried (not the death date). The individual burial cards do have the death date and sometimes also have birth date or age, cause of death, next of kin and some other interesting pieces of information.

I think this is their official address and phone number:

Cedar Lawn Cemetery & Crematory
Mclean Blvd & Crooks Ave,
Paterson, NJ 07513
(973) 279-1161

I have an ancestral family buried there whose names are not on the marker. My ancestor's brother added the names of all of his family but my ancestor did not. There were a total of 13 people buried in the plot but only about 6 names engraved on the marker.

Good luck! I'll let you know if I find anything new on the Viviano's.

RE: Costanza
Yes Thomas d 1997. I never found him. But he may be in another area of Oakwood, I'll keep an eye open for him and the Battaglia's.
I just went to the Find-a-grave web site, you already have pictures of the others I mentioned. Someone else put them in.

Hi, I didn't find Thomas, son of Gaetano, but i did find Rosario d. 2003, Dorothy d. 2004, Salvatore P, and Sarah d. 1990.
If they belong to the same family I'll be happy to send these to you (I need to re-shoot Sal because I clipped his stone) or put them in their memorial for you.

RE: Philip Mccarthy
Yes, I will make the updates and add the pictures (I'm working to get all my photo over but even doing close to 500 a week, I still have over 50,000 backlog). As to the cemetery photo, I did take one and it is on the main cemetery page as well as one by another volunteer. Only find-a-grave can "approve" a cemetery photo for inclusion on a memorial and they don't find the current options up to the standard they want. Individual contributors are forbidden by the rules from posting general cemetery shots on a memorial. Only photos of the specific grave, or the person themselves are to be added. "Cemetery" photos are only added by the admins (and once they approve one for the cemetery, it will appear on all the memorials for the cemetery).

RE: Vivianos
You're welcome. I will keep an eye out for others. I happened to stumble (almost literally) onto this plot while looking for one nearby. It was another request that had the location of the grave and I found the Viviano's first!

Hey, you never know!

Arthur's photos are not that great because it was very muddy yesterday so I couldn't clean off the marker. I can go back in the spring or summer and get a better shot and replace the photos I have. If someone else gets a better photo, I will be happy to remove mine.

Viviano's @ Cedar Lawn
I added photos to Salvatore & Octavia's memorials. There are three additional headstones in the plot. I thought you might like to add the memorials yourself so here is the basic information:

Gandolph Viviano 3/8/1915- 8/12/1947*
Arthur Viviano 1901-1990
"Mother" Viviano - no dates**

*This year could be 1941 -- it is difficult to read due to weathering.
**I'm hoping you will know if this is Josephine or not. I looked up the Viviano's on Ancestry but since it's not my family, I'll leave it to you to decide.

Let me know when you have added them and I will upload the photos.

Sorry for the sharp angle on Salvatore & Octavia's headstone but a straight shot would have had much of Octavia's information blocked by the tiny shrub in front of the headstone.

Yolanda Randazzise #22297466

Anthony is entombed with Yolanda in the mausoleum. I have added a photo to Yolanda and will add one to Anthony as soon as you add his information.

Anthony Randazzise 1911-1990

The photo is at a sharp angle as it was way over my head. I did my best to make sure there was no glare.
