Is there any way to obtain a sharper image of the grave marker referenced? The date of birth listed on find a grave suggests that this woman was 7 y/o when she gave birth to her son Jacob.

I follow them on FB and for Find A Grave Community Day some people will be going to Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio and others across the US to meet and photograph!
The idea is to get as many gravers as possible in the US (or abroad!) to fill outstanding photo requests, take photos for new entries, and meet others in their area.
I have you on my 'friends list' as a Cleveland area peep, so I wanted you to know. There are already 3 of us signed up.

|Trent Andeson||Arthur F Buchner|
Arthur was my neighbor when I was a kid. We would take him shopping and bring over meals when we could spare it. I went to visit him one day and found him on the floor of his house. "He had fallen and could not get up." When he passed away the family gave my brother his hand made desk and I received the flag from his military service. I kept the flag in my closet for years and finally flew it after 9/11. I am looking into getting the creek which separated our properties named after him and could use any help locating family members. Thanks for adding his photo to this site.

Caroline Munc is my great-grandmother. I was very pleased to find the memorial that you created for her, including the photo of her grave marker. Her daughter, Anna Urban, is my grandmother. I created her husband Anton's memorial and am the one who has been submitting links to all of Caroline's and Anton's children. I would very much appreciate it if you would transfer Caroline's memorial to me.

|ECNordstrom||Saint Johns Evangelical Church Cemetery, Sipesville, Somerset County, PA|
We were at Saint Johns Evangelical Church Cemetery in Sipesville, Somerset County, PA yesterday, and there are only 8 headstones present in the entire cemetery, the church long torn down. The largest headstone is for Peter Gonder, and his headstone sits out alone from the rest. There are no headstones for Barbara (Queer) Gonder or Elizabeth Gonder, wife #1 and #2.
The photo of the cemetery listed on Find A Grave has all the tombstones in the photo. The darkest headstone in the center of the photo sitting out by itself is Peter Gonder's. In the photo image that views all the tombstones from their front, Peter Gonder's is the one in the front (and not in the row of four headstones) by itself. He is the only Gonder of the 8 headstones left behind.
The church is long torn down, if you walk ten feet beyond the staircase that is viewable in the photo and turn to the left, you would have been at the front doors of the small white church.
An interesting little tidbit to share is that Sipesville is also the location of Quecreek Mine Rescue of 'Nine Alive' fame from 2002. Saint Johns Evangelical Church Cemetery is only about 3.5 miles northwest from the rescue site on Schoolhouuse Road/SR4002 about 500 feet from where it T's up to Keysertown Road/SR4013.

|Jenny E.||Pauline/Gustav Huss photo request|
I was at Spring Grove yesterday and I found the marker for Pauline and Gustav Huss (it's a joint marker with all of the Huss's from sect. 72 lot 57 on it - Charles R, Charles W. and William). I couldn't get a decent photo due to sun/shadows. I will photograph all sides of this monument on another trip when it is cloudy. Sorry for the delay.

Hi Holly, I saw your photos on the Kingsbury memorials in Springdale Cemetery, and your tree on Ancestry. Very nice!
I just entered another Kingsbury memorial in Springdale.
Mrs Margaret Kingsbury, 67 years, died April 27, 1960.
Any ideas as to who she is?
Also, did you know you can contact Springdale on their website and request burial info? Go to the website, click on the history header and then genealogy requests.
Springdale kept great records. They can tell you all the Kingsburys buried there, when they died and so forth.
I found out my Civil War GG Grandfather bought a 10 plot lot in 1878, and paid for them on an installment plan! Who wouda thunk? :)

Thank-you for the wonderful photos of the Sweesy family. It helps fill in some blanks for me. Might I ask if you saw and Weeks stones nearby. I know that the Sweesy family is related to the Weeks family. What I do not know is if the Weeks in the same cemetery are the right Weeks family. If the stones are nearby it is a possibility that they are related. Thank - YOU! Judith
