Mortimer gravestones Saint Anthony's Nanuet, #118385669
Hi, thanks for visiting the cemetery. It appears that the gravestone photos posted on this memorial do not belong to the Mortimer family. Do you know if there might be a correct headstone photo available? Looking to see if her husband James Charles Mortimer is buried there with her. Thank you,

Michael that is where I had him as well, but a relative called Hackensack cemetery and they had no record of him. The relative did some detective work and found the burial location.

Thank you for taking such a fine photo of Homer Stoughton's monument marker. It is thru photos, like these, that I have been able to piece together much of my lineage. My heritage is much clearer because of the efforts of volunteers, like you, who assist us in our search for ancestors. Thank you again for taking time to post this photo.

RE: Lanchantin
Your Mom was probably a couple of years ahead of mine, she was born in 1931. She was in the nursing program at the Mount and finished her degree in in 1953 and her clinicals in December of that same year.

I don't know that my siblings notified the Alumni Association of Mom's passing. I was in charge of the mass and disposition of her remains.

It is interesting to me just how small the world really is. I recently received a family tree "hint" on Ancestry and discovered a distant cousin, by marriage, who had a very similar background. Her father was also in the military and we went to high school in the same town.

Thanks again for all of your help.

Lanchantin at St Catharine's

Thank you so very much for your photo of my grandparents grave marker. I have been looking for their burial place for quite some time! I have volunteered with Find-a-Grave as well and hope to be able to pay your kindness forward in the near future.

Again, thank you,
Michelle Lanchantin
