 | Mary Philips Thank you for putting the picture of Mary Philips grave marker online. It's not the Mary Philips that I was hoping for as my Mary Philips was born Apr 24,1891 and died April 6,1936 and the death certificate said Mount Hope Cem.

 | Samuel and Julia M. Dawson etc. Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings, NY Thanks so much for the headstone photo! I was wondering if you are also related to the Dawson's? I noticed that you lived in Broome County, NY. I am curious as to what brought you to the Westchester area? I was delighted and surprised at getting a photo from Mount Hope because (from my experience and some other volunteer's experiences) they are not the friendliest to work with (to put it mildly). Did you take many other photos from Mount Hope (Hastings, Westchester, NY)?Added by Marilyn Weakley on May 17, 2013 11:36 AM | |

 | RE: Hotchkiss Photo It was a perfect day today as you can see. Some of the stones are really dark and pitted. Hard to see. I spent time with the caretaker and went thru records to find 2 of the stones. They are not all together.Added by Fred Getz on Apr 28, 2013 6:07 PM | |

Terri Snyder Satchwell
 | Cecilia Satchwell I have been searching for the grave of Cecilia Satchwell who died about 1842. She was the first wife of John Satchwell #76531882. He is buried in Adam's Street Cemetery along with Cecilia's parents, John and Wealthy Dunham. John's second wife, Annie H Satchwell, who died in 1855, is buried in King Street Cemetery. Cecilia's name has been rendered as Celia, Sily, Lily, Selah, Salle and Salice in various records. I noticed that Find A Grave says Adam's Street Cemetery has only been 98% photographed and I'm wondering if that's true of the others as well. You seem to be well acquainted with these cemeteries, do you think it's possible her stone has been overlooked? I would appreciate any light you could shed on this matter. Thanks so much.Added by Terri Snyder Satchwell on Apr 23, 2013 10:25 AM | |

The Satchwell's seem to all be in the same area and apparently you created several of their memorials, thank you for finding them and making this all possible!Added by Terri Snyder Satchwell on Apr 17, 2013 6:13 PM | |

 | Updates to information Always prefer updates as you get to them. Sometimes I spend days doing just updates, which I also love to do but I do not really like being overwhelmed because I feel like I have to add updates before I get anything else done, this leads to a messy kitchen...also I am still adding local names. I see your numbers and am sure you understand...Added by Barbara LeClaire on Apr 17, 2013 12:54 PM | |
