James Fremont Hall
I recently obtained a photograph of James Fremont Hall(1864-1894) son of Alvin Orr Hall. I do not have a date of death or burial location. I would like to put the photograph on Find a Grave. Do you have that information?
I have recently added several other Halls and Ransoms

I see you names on Family Tree Maker and Find a Grave. We have similar relatives. I know your tree includes my parents Clarence and Dorothy Castner who are buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Sidney Nebraska
.How are we related?

RE: Transfer of Anna Stout's Memorial
Mr Ash,

If you look closely, you will see that you yourself posted the photo of my mother's headstone, not I. As such, I cannot remove it. It is fine with me if it stays, and you, of course, will be credited with having posted it. Should you want it removed, you will have do so, and that is fine with me. My sister lives in the area, she would be glad to take another photo.

Thank you indeed, very much for transferring the memorial into my care.

RE: Peter Clausen
Thank you for adding the photo to Abigael's memorial. I think I'd intended on messaging you to see if you could save a copy of the picture from Peter Clausen's memorial to hers as well since it shows both inscriptions, but got sidetracked. Again, thank you so much for the picture and helping fill in missing information in my research!

The restoration of the Military Headstone for Ivan Mortimer Armstrong is wonderful. Did you do this marvelous restoration? Thank you for the new post of the head stone. So much more fitting for a veteran.

Peter Clausen
Thanks for updating the memorial and also for the wonderful picture. :) You helped me find the burial place for my 3rd great grandmother! Peter's sister, Annie D. Clausen Hansen was my great great grandmother. Your clear picture of Peter's stone showed information I've been trying to clarify for Abigael. You totally made my day. Thanks from ND!

Frederick Sieber
William Kenyon Alden Cemetery
Thanks for the photograph of William Kenyon. I built a findagrave entry for his wife, who apparently died in Wisconsin. It appears they met in Oswego County, New York, then moved to Wisconsin, then she died before he moved to the Alden area. I don't know who his parents are. If you know anything about his parents or wife, please let me know. Thanks.

I have appreciated your photo additions on Find A Grave, specifically those of Ophelia Dolly Hall, her husband Ash, and Albert G. Hall. May I have your permission to add these to my Family Tree on Any chance that you have more Hall photos? I am a descendant of Elvira L. Hall Ransom, Albert's sister.

Armstrong History
RE: Elliott Ash #58275145
Hi - Thanks for the follow-up. It's always nice to hear from other family researchers and people who enjoy history! Glad that you have seen the info about your relative. As I spend more time on my family research and work related research - I am amazed by how much stuff you can find in the most interesting places / websites! It takes digging! And, it always makes the effort worthwhile when I can pass it along to another person who is interested in the history. In answer to your question - I know there are distant relatives who settled in the Minnesota area - we haven't gotten that far into it yet - but I know from collecting bits and pieces along the way some of the relatives did locate to Minnesota. I would like to compare notes with you when we get to that section of our family research and would like to reach out in the near future. Armstrong is a common name - and that makes some of the research interesting but also time consuming . . so it's the process of the research that becomes enjoyable! Take care!
