|Fay Carmichael||Congdon Family|
Would you know if James Congdon 1765-1858 and his son James Congdon 1792-1875 also from Rhode Island fit into this same family?
They later relocated to Cedar Lake, Herkimer County, New York.
My 4th cousin Mary Moore married Roscoe Congdon 1863-1922.

|Sandra Hopkins Ernst||RE: Marion Thomas Price|
I looked through my "stuff" for an obit on him, I don't have one. It must have been the original creator of the memorial that posted the part about the obit. I do, however, have a Drexel (MO) history book and found a small reference to him with his family's story. It states - "Marion Thomas Price, born 12-4-34 died 10-30-54 in Yokoshuka, Japan while serving in the United States Navy". Another part says "Four of the six sons served in the US Military, Wilbur, Grattan and George in WWII. Wilbur was a prisioner of war for six months after he was seriously injured. Marion was in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict where he died." I'm sorry I'm not much help. But feel free to use the picture of his stone if you like. If I do come up with anything else, I'll let you know.

My one connection to Bushong is from 1977, I think. My VW was stolen and taken to the missile silo and burned! Bd

|Anonymous||RE: Coats & William Seitz|
It might be sometime before I get back up that far north but I'll keep Coats in mind.
I walked all of Allen Cemetery today and could not find a marker for WILLIAM SEITZ. Thinking it is unmarked since the obit said he was buried there. I did a check of Admire Cemetery for him too but no success.

|Anonymous||Photo Request for Anders Maurice Erickson|
I walked the entire cemetery and the only stone I found close to your request was in the name of Maurice A. Erickson. The dates matched your request so I posted the photo on Anders Maurice Erickson site. If this is wrong, please let me know and I will delete the photo.

|Anonymous||Request for photo of Delbert Rhudy's stone|
According to the obituary in the Sept. 14, 1983 edition of the Emporia Gazette, Mr. Rhudy passed away in the hospital in Iuka, Mississippi. The body was cremated in Mississippi. His wife, Genevieve, who died in Feb. 1987 was buried in Leavenworth, KS.
From the list I have of burials in Allen Cemetery, neither Delbert Rhudy nor his wife are buried in the Allen Cemetery.
The obituary did not stated the location of the ashes for Delbert. Since he was a Navy Vet. his wife and his ashes may be in the Leavenworth National Military Cemetery or some other cemetery in Leavenworth.

You want "a pick"? A choice of pictures? I take photos of the whole stone & close ups of the inscription if it's hard to read. I also photoshop them to make them the most legible (& prettiest when possible).

Hall or Shryack? Didn't have one for Eldred Shryack so am thinking there is not one as we had one for the other members of Shryack. Didn't check for Hall other than the requested photo.
My wife actually took the photos but I trimmed around some of the stones which were covered with grass, etc.; also kept her walking in line so we didn't miss a marker. Could have missed one however, so left the request open until it can be re-checked.

|Lorne Willard||RE: allen renner|
Diane, you can use the picture, I have some others of him after the war as he lost his leg after being wounded in Resaca Georgia that I can send you as well. He was very active in the GAR, I have some newspaper articles and some other things relating to it that would be of interest. I'd be interested in helping out.

|Joan Riddle Giles||RE: flinn|
I wish I could help. My only connection to him is that his daughter, Jane Irene Flinn, married my father's cousin in my Riddle family, so I am not a Flinn descendant. Some records at Ancestry.com show his parents to be Charles Edward Flinn and Elizabeth Dwyer. I applaud your important efforts and wish you much success.
