|Steve Williams||RE: Ethel I Davis #160011258|
Thanks for responding and adjusting the memorial. Now I see my confusion. On the FindAGrave website, the Salem and Ludwig Cemeteries are listed separately. They are the same cemetery. And users have entered separate memorials at each. Your entry in the Ludwig Cemetery matches the one entered by Rev. Dale Sims back in 2010 in the Salem Cemetery. Since your more recent picture is a higher resolution, it was easier to read the details on the stone. Perhaps, someone at FindAGrave can merge the cemeteries and memorials.

Hi. First, thanks for your pictures and work to document the cemeteries.
On Memorial# 160011258, you named it Ellen Davis d.1895, but the picture of the stone is from Ethel I Davis d.1895, whose grave is located in Salem cemetery.
Is there a mistake on the grave record in Ludwig cemetery? I know mistakes happen. Just curious and I'm trying to locate Davis family members in Shelby County.

|TeriK||James Spangler Mem #44813708|
You posted a picture of the headstone on this memorial. I was wondering if you still had the original picture? I would like to know what the age is that is inscribed on his headstone. I can't quite make it out in the online picture and was wondering if it could be seen in the original?
I'm trying to determine if this is a family member.
Thank you for posting the picture and for any assistance you can give me.

Hi Carol, On James Hart memorial - 38699404 you posted a photo of his headstone, shared with Lennie Hart - 38699414 - Lennie's memorial has no headstone photo, and I am wondering if you could share the photo from James Hart and place it also onto Lennie's?

Many thanks for putting Karen's headstone pic onto Find A Grave. It really helps to see them when verifying family info and I love how they look.
I wonder of you'd allow me to use the pic in the family research, with credit, of course?

|Jim Barringer||John M. Birt headstone|
Thank you for your time attempting to locate the headstone of John M. Birt. Regrettable, the image provided belongs to his grandfather who did in fact serve with Company 'K', 73 Reg. Indiana Inf. during the civil war. The 73rd Inf reg only existed during the years 1861-1865. It was an honest mistake, both have the same exact name and are both buried at the same cemetery.
