|Russell Kasper||William and Cyrus Kinman|
I read your memorial note about Lt. Col. William Kinman. I am a researcher who is trying to put faces to the names of our fallen civil war, war hero's. I noted that no one found his son's grave yet, that being C. L. Kinman. It turns out his name was Cyrus. He was present at the time of his father's death and wrote a note about it. I established a memorial for him, he died in Long Beach California in 1921. No cemetery has an active listing for him, so I made a general memorial for him. His death was recorded in an Idaho newspaper a month after he died. After the war he moved to Idaho, but retired to California for the sun there. I hope you enjoy reading about your great-great-great uncle. Also note, his other son is buried in Illinois. His name was Newton B. Kinman, and was in Co. I, 115th Illinois Volunteer Infantry. It seems the whole family fought in the 115th.

|Kathy (St. John) Millsap||The Anthony Cemetary info......|
Good Morning, James,
Can you give me your e-mail for the
info you want. I documented this in
1995 and now there are new owners.
I can give you their address and
phone # tho. You could contact them
direct. They may not be happy for me
to put their info on here.

|Kathy (St. John) Millsap||Good Morning, James...|
Thank you for the e-mail information. I don't have that many memorials on here, and I forget to look at my profile messages, so guess I will continue to just look at my e-mail messages. I'm saving your
info for future use tho. I appreciate it.
Just wondered if you are kin to the Anthony's I found. The tiny ticks are bad right now, so don't
know if I will go out there soon or not. I want to
search for more tombstones to document.
Oh, thanks for telling me to always log in.
I always-always forget and I didn't know it mattered one way or the other. Now I will do it.

|Kathy (St. John) Millsap||Good Morning, James...|
I had about a half of a page typed out and hit some wrong key and it all went away.....!!!
Don't know how to get it all back.
The gist of it was that I know where there is a cemetary with several Anthony people in it.
I documented it for my records and took pictures of the tombstone, but never did anything with it because I did not know about this web site.
Do these people ring a bell with you??
George W. ---son of F.m. and f.w. Anthony--
born Jan 18, 1860.
Frances w. wife of F.m. Anthony---daughter of
G.A and N.W. Grant--Died May 7, 1876-- 38 yr
(Clarksburg union church was complet4ed and dedicated in Jan 1872. F.M. Anthony was one of the 5 guys on the building committee)
Eugene Stephen Anthony--Missouri Pvt 8 Field Art--
January 1, 1918
What is a virtual cemetary?
I plan to put my information and pictures on here in a few days. I also have several other people buried here. It's in a woods and has about 10 or 12 tombstones. I did this in 1995. I need to go back and make sure I have everybody. At the time I was just curious and never did anything with the information.
Do you know any of these people?
Just thought I would write to you since you are interested in your Mom's family tree.
I have contributed several things to this website.
Kathy (St. John) Millsap
I'm not sure how you should get hold of me.
I'm tracing the St. John and Millsap family from
Platte Co, Mo. and Mills Co, Iowa.

|Ronald Kanatzar||Col A. W. Anthony|
See History of Cole, Moniteau, Morgan, Benton, etc. Counties of Missouri. Found on Ancestry by putting in Anderson Woods or Lewis C. Anthony. You can print it but not copy and paste. Also, Missouri Digital Heritage for the same "History of Cole, etc". Searchable, copy and paste.

Anderson Woods was an attorney in Morgan Co most of his life. Served in the Union Army but did not serve long because he did not like his superior. Colonel must have been an honorary title. Married Sarah Robinson but no children. Raised many nephews, nieces and cousins. I have his obit but I have not loaded it onto my database. Nolte has his Find A Grave record.
There is a biography of him in the History of Morgan Co, MO. It have seen it online and I cannot find it. I will look again.

I am not a direct relation to the Elstons.
Cyrus Granville McNeil (# 7138739) was my 3rd gr.grandfather. His brother, Peter Patterson McNeil (# 43972890) married Sarah Jane Elston (# 43977779).
The pictures I posted for them were provided by another McNeil descendant who is also a findagrave member ajfwoodard (#46957363).
My information on the Elston family does not extend beyond Sarah Jane and her parents, but I'd be happy to help however I can.

I've been researching Wallace. Other than his wife's maiden name (Dunn)and his muster out rank of Sgt. I've found nothing. No census info show children but
1880 is the furthest back I could find.

|Ronald Kanatzar||The Anthony's|
These are also my Anthony's.
My mother was an Akeman>Eugenia Stidham>Laura Annie Anthony>John N>Thomas Jefferson>Lewis>James.
She stayed many times with James Price and Lillian at Shaw when she was growing up. We visited the families many times when I was young but, I did not really know the relationship until later on in life. Grandfather Stidham (Laura Annie) is buried at Shaw. I can find very little on him. Nancy Jane (John N.) and Laura Annie help raise my mother after my grandmother Eugenia died. Eugenia refused to go to the doctor and died 30 days after my only living aunt was born. Mother said Nancy Jane was mostly indian. I have not been able to prove that.
I will find Thomas Jefferson this winter at the Wright cemetery (just north of Shaw). I put John N. there just to have a record of him. Hopefully he is buried there also.
I will more than happy to add anything you want to add to the records.
