is a diff in the yr of his birth 1908 on the memorial and 1909 on the marker?

Thanks for volunteering to take the photo. Would you mind checking to see if William Thomas Simmons (her husband) is buried there? I was told he was buried in Woodlawn, but they have no record of him there.

Im sorry that woman gave you grief. You dont need a power of attorney for a cemetery unless its on private property or unless a body is being exhumed. SHe probably didnt want to be bothered. I hope you better luck the next time. Also if this helps Frances went by a pet name all of her life. Maybe they put the pet name on the headstone. It was "sister" but no she wasnt a nun...LOL

If you dont find her this time then I must have been given the wrong cemetery. Is there another cemetery in the town, if so do you by chance know what the name of it is?
