Questions from Orange
Mr. Wilson, I now reside back in Orange due to some family obligations; I have been living away since 1982. A friend in DC told me about findagrave.com, and I sometimes take pics. I am pretty concerned about the status of Evergreen Cemetery here in Orange. Look at the LATEST pic of a marker that you initially took:

https://picasaweb.google.com/111642704036170561280/2015_12_29_Evergreen#6233799196541273122

(It should be for Claude Leslie Gilstrap.)

I realize that cleaning markers and keeping flowers are family issues, but I "think" Evergreen is perpetual care; a grave popping out of the ground should be a cemetery matter.

I am guessing Evergreen is not going to be responsive. Do you know of any reporting mechanism or procedure for something like this?

Thanks. Oh, feel free to look at the other pics in that folder. The first one (Blanchard) is for my great-grandparents.

Jessie Cunningham, last time
I was able to find an obit for Jessie in a Kansas City, Kansas newspaper. I have added it to her page, and linked her to her first husband. Thank you for your help in documenting her first marriage.

Jessie Cunningham, again
After I added the cemetery I looked for an obit in the Topeka papers, but didn't find one. I need to know her actual death date. The records just show her date of burial as Oct. 20, 1947. It appears that she died in Kansas City, Kansas.

I learned not too long ago that my older cousin Wanda that managed these pages and more passed away 2 years ago. I would love to manage these pages and all linked to it. Also his brother Alon Dee Gilmore and others too. I tried to e mail her several times to share info. She didn't answer me. I got in touch with her sister. And she has passed. And it's a shame. She does not even have a find a grave page. She put so much work into our family history.. I have too and would love to take over. Please tell me what I have to do on here to take this over. Elizabeth Donahoe is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Orange. When you entered her memorial and picture of her marker, did you see a marker for her husband, Dexter Watson Donahoe? According to his obit, he died 5 Sep 1910 in Beaumont at the home of his daughter Mrs. J. W. Patillo, and the body was shipped to Orange. The body was taken to Evergreen Cemetery where he was laid to rest by the side of his wife who had died earlier.

Walter Colman
I went to the Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery and asked where Walter Colman was buried so I could take a picture and fill you request. The person that was working in the office looked at the records and said that there was no Walter Colman. If you have a different spelling please let me know. Thank you
