John T Metcalfe Portrait
Hi Jony,

Thank you for posting the wonderful picture of John T Metcalfe's portrait.

Can you share with me where the portrait is located?

John T Metcalfe married Harriet A Colles a very distant cousin of mine and it would be wonderful to see it in person if possible.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Mary Armstrong
I think I have it worked out. You are looking for Mary Barbee Armstrong, who was the wife of John Milton Armstrong Sr. The other Mary was a small child. If you will reply to my email address attached to my bio giving me your email address I will send you a copy of the lot card. In the meantime I am going to attach Mary Barbee to your request.

Two Mary Armstrongs P-83
I will get a lot card next week because it's going to take more than just pictures to solve this puzzle. One of the stones is very difficult to read. AND there are also two John Milton Armstrongs (Jr. and Sr)Did each marry and Mary? Be patient.

Mary and Mary K. Armstrong
There are two Mary's buried in Section P, Lot 83 and they both died in 1866, Mary K. was buried 25 Sept 1866 and Mary was buried 18 Aug 1866. The cemetery does not register birth dates. State law says they have to record burial dates and that's what they do. I will try for the pictures but if I come back with two of them then we'll have to make a memorial for the other one.

Chambers
Hi Joany, You've added a lot of Chambers, plus additional info about them. I'm assuming you're a Chambers - right? I'm a Dixon/Alexander/McDougald - the Chambers intermarried with the Alexander's.
Thanks so much for all your work.

Ella Fleming??
The grave ajoining John Fleming is "Ozzie Fleming"
07-15-1876/08-12-1959. The stones and incriptions are exactley the same. I was not able to locate Ella Fleming, but this cemetery is so huge I have not covered it all. I have pics of Ozzies grave if you are interested. the inscription does say Her work is done, just like Johns.

Long shot, re: Mary Satterthwaite
Dates of birth and death that I found on the marker at Abington Friends Cemetery don't quite match what you posted. The tombstone I saw shows 1822-1870, probably for a different person all together... but thought that I should check with you just in case. How certain are you of years of birth and death for the woman you seek?

RE: Walter Bujol
Joany, I have a picture of a head stone
that has a cross with the letters that
looks like F B the F could be an E,
it was on a grassy path next to Walter
grave. If you want me to put it on
Emily's page or Walter let me know.

RE: Walter Bujol photo
I searched the old section of the cemetery. That was the only Bujol tomb I could find. On that Woodmen monument it has a Walter J Bujol B. Dec.8 1880 D. Oct.14th 1915. I have a closeup pic of that if you need it.

Joseph Crawford (died 20 December)
Hi. I have been working on my family tree and was excited to find this site. Wanted to give you some information for my grandfather's "listing." You have listed spouse but no children.
He left 2 children--my mom, Linda Mary Crawford, and her brother, Douglas Crawford. Can they be added to his information?

Thanks for all you are doing!

Sincerely,
GTG

William C Osborn
There is a unmarked red brick grave next to Rhoda Clark Smith Osborn. This might be William. The cemetery record on William states that his interment was 21 Jun 1868 in the Old Section of the cemetery and that his cause of death was "Palsy". I have taken a photo of the unmarked grave in relation to Rhoda Clark Smith Osborn.

I searched the old section of the cemetery for two days and could not locate a marked grave for William. Let me know if you would like the unmarked grave photo I took posted for William.

Thank you!
Very late notice, but wanted to thank you for the Bently (Bendily) graves at the Catholic Cemetery. I've been trying to find one on George Jacob, Jr., but so far no luck. He was born about 1855 and died in 1889 in Maurepas or Denham Sprs
