RE: Massey surname
Also see my virtual cemetery walker/collier/Massey.
Look under photos for Minnie Lee Collier there you will find a sign with other Massey names. This may help.

RE: Massey surname
No, I am not related to any Masseys. My exhusband's grandmother's last name was Massey buried in Texas.

RE: Chance
Hi Cuz:
I will give you some of what I have about the Tulare County CHANCEs.
My great uncle Bruce died in Fresno after being taken to a hospital there from Dinuba. There is no Death Certificate in Tulare County but his Probate is found in the Court House. After finding that, I was able to piece together some of his life.
This is what I think happened. He came back to his childhood home and settled in Dinuba. He married Edith Nettie LEONARD. LEONARD was her maiden name. Anyway, she and Bruce married when he was 81 and she was 78.
I discovered that Bruce had been in WWI and got lucky and was able to get the VA Marker that you find at the Smith Mountain Cemetery.
Much more can be found on my web site but this is a shortcut .
Good to hear from you and thank you.
