Ted Travis
Hello Dianna, thanks very much for replying. I still haven't found more on Travis and Marie Crenshaw, but I will send you more on this as soon as I can locate it. Marie (Roby) Crenshaw died in 1960 at Central State Hospital in Louisville. Her first husband, Walter H. Crenshaw died in 1957. So (Ada Marie( 1913-1960) must have married Ted Travis between 1957 and 1960. Best wishes, Ed Lee

In replying to another message I found this name under you.. I have only one of these... Would the child you mentioned, Nannie, belong to one of these wives... If so, do you have any more children or uplines here... thanks... My John M. did have a brother named Judge Duncan Robinette (b.3-?-188)(d.12-23-1956) and md. to a Lillie M. Addington of VA.

David King
My King family
My King family moved to Bullitt Co. after the Revolutionary War. Withers received land for his service during the war. Withers, Alexandria, Nelson, William, Roy, and Lee Roy (my Dad). Most stayed around Bullitt, Nelson, Spencer, and Jefferson Co.
When I drove a school bus, there were two Taylor brothers who lived off of Kings Church Rd. Can't remember their names, but one had a son named Randy and the other had a son named Jamie.

This is the lady I was meaning to ask you about. Her parents were James and Catherine Hedden Gray. They are my great great grandparents on my moms side of the family.

James and Catherine Hedden Gray
James and Catherine Hedden Gray are my great great great grandparents. Abram, their son, was my grandfather Howard Gray's dad. He is buried in Grove Hill Cemetery here in Shelbyville, Ky. His wife, Alice, and three of their sons are also buried in the same plot. Our family just purchased a new headstone with all the information for all 5 of them.

RE: Thank You!!!
Dianna, I have changed photos on Genia Wilson's memorial #145192291. I carry flowers with me to brighten up the photos, however, the day that I visited the cemetery was very very windy, so made the decision to do a retake when weather conditions were more suitable. To show their appreciation for the volunteer work that I am doing for Find A Grave, my local florist donated an arrangement of fall and another of spring flowers.
They are especially nice if you have an unmarked grave to photograph. I borrowed the idea from someone in Pa who furnished me a photo of an unmarked grave with a big teddy bear sitting on the grass. She apologized and said that was the only thing she had with her at the time to use as a marker. I loved the idea.

RE: Marg Jackson
Oh, that would be great. Thank you for doing that. I appreciate you being willing to ask about this.

Sam was supposed to have died in Coarsegold in Madera County. That's why I thought maybe he was scattered on the same property as Marg. It isn't anything I could state as a fact, though.

Hi Dianna,

Strange the email failed. Thank you for putting the obit up. You're welcome, I was happy when I found it and hoped you could use it.

Yes I did get the email about Marg's father. Thanks for responding. It has been a brick wall trying to find out where he and the others are buried. Maybe they are scattered in the same place and that is why I can't find a burial place for them. Hopefully I'll be able to find out one of these days.

Garold L. Swartz
Hi, I just got back from taking the photos at the cemetery, and the ones I took of Garold's headstone had a big sunray glare on it. I will go back up there and take a better one. In the mean time I added a distant shot. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you,
