Oscar Parker Harris
Transferred to you. Oscar Parker is a DNA Grp 6 in the Harrises. Allen Bailey Harris has a flower from a Parker who says he links to Harris Grp 6 - probably the source of his name. I have and uncle deceased and a first cousin Olin Parker Harris (written in the Bible as Olen) so the name was carried through my line as well. I had thought it a derivation of Parks which was used in the generation before Oscar but now think differently. Best Wishes.

Doris Yocom
Naomi, Doris' name is included on J. Harold Yocom's headstone but there is no date of death. I would not create a memorial until her death. Sandi

Yocoms at Shenkel
You're welcome. There are a couple of Yocoms left at Shenkel. If they're related, I'll be glad to transfer them to you.

Have you been to this area? There is a Yocom Road off of Unionville Road just across the county line in Berks. That's probably where this Yocom family that attended Shenkel lived. I believe there were Yocoms still living there when we moved to this area (1980s). I don't know them, or even if they're still there.

Good luck with your research. It so-o handy when you live nearby. Chester and Berks counties have a lot of local resources.

Yes I will transfer all graves related to you. Its easiest for me to do this by you individually requesting the transfer via the individual grave page by hitting "suggest a correction" ..and then asking me to transfer grave to you in the message box.

Hello
Hi, Naomi,

Just thought I'd check in and see how you're doing. I'm sure you've had a lot going on since losing your husband last summer. Hope you are well.

Naomi,

This is my grandmother, she was married 4 times, the other last names should be added in some way, my mother was from her second marriage, and her sisters & brother from her first marriage...Grandma was married to Jessie B. Smith that you have, her second was to Marble Lee Goode, her third was to Andrew Edwards, and her forth to Nathan Bagley..as you can see she was buried under the Bagley name, but no children..I will get back with you with the childrens names..are you can email me at m.magtime@gmail.com

Thanks Sweet Lady,
Margie Lovett

RE: Cary Snider/Snyder
I saw the different spelling on the tombstone but all other info has it spelled with the i, so I went with how the family spelled their name.

James & Sarah Carter
Someone placed a photo request on your memorial page for James & Sarah Carter in the Magnolia Cemetery in Augusta, GA. I went to the cemetery this week and searched for the tombstone. The one I have posted on your memorial pages is a stone in that lot but it is facing down. The office is unsure if that is the correct stone but the stone was there in the 1920's when a lot of stones were transcribed. If you do not feel this is the correct stone let me know and I will be glad to remove it.

Julia Loper Holland
The date 06 June 1880 is correct. The census taker came to visit a month later and that is how I am certain she was born in Goshen, Henderson County, Texas. If you use https://familysearch.org you can find her birth and death and the births of her children, as well as the census entry.

Thanks again - Bill Hayes

RE: Ann Sewell Martin
Actually, it was not my intention to make it that small. My photo program has become kind of weird. At any rate, I am going to fix that today, and also post a close-up crop of the inscription. The Martin plot has 4 graves in a row in front of the big monument, Ann, her parents and her brother. I have photos of all 4, if you need them.
