|Peter||RE: Jacquette Lagace|
Thank you for this information. How does someone find these burial records? Thanks again for the research you did.

I am trying to determine why Find A Grave Memorial # 115377758 André Migner dit Lagacé is buried at the La Pocatière Cemetery - La Pocatière, Bas-Saint-Laurent Region, Quebec, Canada
while his wife
Find A Grave Memorial# 152273011 Jacquette Michel Mignier dit Lagacé is buried at Rivière-Ouelle Cemetery - Rivière-Ouelle,Bas-Saint-Laurent Region
How sure are we of these burials since there are no headstones on either site?

Interesting! I did not know there was a direct ancestor line within your family/in-laws to the Hallowell Clan in the Jefferson area. Any information/photos you might have access to I'd be more then pleased to see. (Only for my personal use.) Thank you for your time...

Sorry, I just noticed that I hadn't read all of your email - would you like a couple of links to online records in France (the message would then need deleted, since they're links)? Let me know...

I really haven't been able to find a lot on him other than the family & Notary information from the Tanguay collection, his name is listed as Jean-Baptiste in his son's marriage on the Drouin collection), and his baptism in France is verified with the PRDH. I agree though, Adam seems like a non-French name, so it's hard to say where his father may have come from...

Thank you for your suggestion regarding the numerous Sainte Ann cemeteries. Much appreciated.
I see you are researching the Henley (Hanley)s of the Gaspe. I have info and some pictures incl. Patrick/Fournier family of Fall River MA if you need them. I am looking for as many 19th century pictures of my ancestors that I can find as well as their burial locations and monuments. Some day, I hope to get to the Gaspe region so far only virtual tours. Thought you might be interested by this SPOOR memorial - it happens to be in a cemetery which is a mere 15-miles from my door. Mr. SPOOR knew Sewall ANDREWS, a Wisconsin pioneer and friend (who happens to be a 4th-Great-Grand-Uncle to my son, his mom, and grandpa - through the RESSEGUIE family). See my "virtual flower" entry at the memorial. I contributed ALL of the data in the BIO section. In addition I've written a complete biography about Mr. Andrews, wherein his adventures with A. Spoor are documented [link]:

I don't know if you saw my note that I added to his memorial Saturday (sorry, I forgot that I changed my email address on Find A Grave and just got the message)...
Anyway, the posted photo is a log of baptisms, not the actual record. We were able to find his baptismal record though. It was kind of fun, because the Latin interpreter that helped me with it said that his mother hid her pregnancy and that he was born at sea during the two month journey. He was unable to be baptized on the ship, so was baptized 3 days after they arrived (probably as soon as they could get it done).
If you're a direct descendant and would like a copy for your records, I'd be happy to share it - just let me know... Thanks

We did get her age at death from S.A. White's book, but didn't make any notes regarding a middle name (doesn't mean that it wasn't in there though). Thanks for the info, I'll make a reference to it... ☺
Added by AJ on Oct 16, 2015 4:50 PM
I was wondering what the reference is for her middle name as Anne? The only records that we have been able to find is the US & International Marriage Record 1560-1900, the nosorigines.qc site, and her burial record, which all state her name only as Marie.
The Family Data Collection (from Family Trees) and the Web: Netherlands, GenalogieOnline Trees Index both have her middle name as Anne, but there isn't any documentation...
I just wanted to verify, as she is in my direct line.

Hey Robert, Mary Lyon does have a cenotaph in the South Hadley Falls cemetery and that is what the memorial was created from. I will note it as such. Thanks! Jim

Thanks, Robert. Added lat and long. I saw the map when I added and saved the coord. Is there something special I have to do so other people can see the map?

|nancy robison||RE: Family|
I saw an old Rootsweb message board (1998, I believe) that said they were both buried in Conn., and the gal was going to the library to look up their burial place. So, someone knows where they are. She was looking for Joseph Israel's parents. I kinda tripped over your Joseph Israel looking for my Joseph. His family just fell in behind him. I have a number of Canadian cousins, Touchette and otherwise. I spend a lot of time combing the Canadian sights. Both of my Dad's parents had Canadian connections.

Thank you, I don't have symbols to make correct French names. I appreciate that you can make the corrections for me. What family is for: sharing and doing it right.

Robert, I was looking for my Joseph Touchette, and found yours.
See memorial # 151680168.

You're very welcome.
I have added the photos now.
Frederick Landers must also have been cremated at Mount Royal Crematorium. Unfortunately the names of those cremated by, but not buried at Mount Royal, are also on the list on Mount Royal's genealogy page. I've run into many names buried elsewhere. The memorial creator will gladly transfer the two memorials to you.
I'll wait to add the photo to Frederick. I forgot to mention that on Frederick's stone it says husband of Elizabeth Bartlett, but I did not see a stone for her.
If I see any more Spoor names I'll let you know.

I have a photo for this man and several other Spoor names, but he is buried at Saint James Anglican Cemetery in Farnham. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2449326
St James is not far from Kirkwood Cemetery.
One of the other names already had a memorial. The lady must have been cremated in Montreal. Her memorial # 108202732 has been moved from Mount Royal Cemetery (in Montreal). I have added a photo to the memorial - unfortunately I had to take the photo directly into the sun and it is not very good.
I'll wait to hear from you and I'll let you know the other names that are on the front of the stone and another Spoor name beside this stone.

Just wanted to thank you for the info on the Randall family. Just wanted to let you know that I have added photos for them as well.
If these are anywhere in your family tree and would like a transfer just let me know. I am not related to 99.99% of my memorials, I just photograph cemeteries.
