RE: Sarah Dungan ~ Marlow
Joanne ...

Thanks. You really moved fast ... :-)

I think she was married in Arkansas, 1888, too; and she may have had two daughters by that first marriage, Gina & Elsie; but I'm not comfortable enough with that research to suggest a further edit to her memorial.

She definitely married John Wesley Dungan, December 11, 1901; and they were residents of Baum, Ind Terr (now Carter Co, OK) at that time. In 1910 Census, they had drifted to Stephens Co, OK, & had three sons & a daughter. The sons, Clyde, Claud & Floyd Dungan are at rest there at Marlow Cemetery; and I believe you manage their memorials too. The daughter's given name was Gracie, born about 1909; but I don't know her married name.

These are very DISTANT cousins ...

Thanks again for your co-operation

RE: Schick Family Photos
Oops! Elmwood Cemetery, not Prairie Union. We went to Prairie Union yesterday, and I thought you were writing about pictures I took down there. Actually, Elmwood is even easier for me. We live in Elmwood, and I have photographs for the entire cemetery. I have not posted most of them because it takes so long. If you want anyone else there, just let me know, or put in a photo request. Sorry about the confusion. Ken

You're very welcome. We usually go down to Prairie Union a couple of times a year, so if there's anything else I can do, feel free to let me know. Ken

Mrs. Willie Wardlaw Beeks
Joanne, thank you for transferring the memorial of Willie Wardlaw Beeks, who is buried at Upper Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville, South Carolina to my care. I will make sure that she is linked to her parents and children.

Your incredible work here at Find-a-Grave is invaluable to individuals like me doing family research. ~ with appreciation, George Gaston

Joanne-a pleasure to hear from such a reasonable, easy-to-work-with lady. You just joined my list of 'good guys.'

Harrison Family cemetery
I tried by best to fill your request for photos of the Harrison Plot but have to say I was unable to find it. It is supposedly down a Forest Service rd. about 1/2 mile and recognizable by trees with white markings. Unfortunately there appears to have been a fire through the area and all the trees have had their bark scoured and there are a lot of downed trees. I spent about an hour walking down different paths only having them dead end. As it is still hunting season here I will wait until Feb. and drive back over there to look again. I hate giving up on a " Lost in the Woods" location.

RE: Lucinda Moore Calvert
Thank you so much. Perhaps we are related. My grandmother was a Calvert. In fact, my middle name is Calvert. My husband spends quite a significant amount of time researching family trees and I must say, it is quite addictive.

I found the problem. There is a duplicate posting for her--1 under her 1st married name Find A Grave Memorial# 27209679, 1 under her 2nd married name Find A Grave Memorial# 20533599. Both memorials by the same person! Sorry about your unnecessary trip.

I added a note to the request. Were you not able to see it? I want to have a better picture of the back of the headstone.

Wenona Bates McCluer
Wanted to touch base with you on the above photo request. If you search for the Prairie Hollow Cemetery in Missouri, you will find one with 546 interments. To my knowledge, that is the only cemetery in our area with that name. I have photographed the entire cemetery and there is no McCluer listed in the cemetery nor is there a headstone with that name on it. Let me know if I can help you any further.

My name is Chris Taggart and I decend from Moses and Mary. I did a lot of research several years ago but kinda lost interest for awhile. I've been looking over my research and getting interested again. I live about 3 1/2 hours from Upper Long Cane Cemetery and planning on a trip there soon.
