Your Welcome, I almost gave up after going to the cemetery twice to walk it when I finally come across his stone almost completely buried but persistence paid off !

RE: Kenneth Williams
Hi Mary!

Thanks for your note. I did think it was unusual that he hadn't been buried near Mary and Thomas but then all are buried in the older portion of the cemetery.

The information regarding Kenneth's birth mother was confirmed by the funeral home, who oversees the cemetery. I verify all grave site information and asked if Mary Williams was his mother.

According to their burial records, Kenneth was the infant/child of Mary Williams (1914-2007).

I did note that the original creator of Kenneth's memorial (Candice) had posted his mother's name as "Hogan". You might want to contact Candice regarding the information she had provided, at the time the memorial was created. Perhaps "Hogan" may have been given as his mother's maiden name on his death certificate record.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance!

Best Wishes,

That is very nice of you! I will continue to look for them. I will probably take a long time, but I will eventually find them!

Request for Barbara Roush

I claimed your request for Barbara Roush. Since Bluebonnet will not give out plot information to non family members, it may take awhile for me to locate your relative's grave. If you can contact the cemetery and find out at least what garden she is buried in, this would be a great help.

Thank you!

Our Shamrock Genealogy Society is updating Shamrock Cemetery Find A Grave Memorials and find this Find A Grave Memorial to be a duplication of one which has more pictures and numerous links. Would you please delete your picture on the one above so that we can request Find A Grave to delete this memorial. Thank you so much.

Bluebonnet Hills Memorials
I've arrived at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, TX & although I've been here before, it was years ago. Consequently, I forgot how large the cemetery is. Do you have any idea which sections Mr. Truman Allen, Ms. Ellen French, Mrs. Barbara June Allen Roush & Ms. Arlene Carver Sturm are in? I went inside the funeral home & asked if they could help but was told they don't release that information. So, if you can be of ANY assistance, I'd be grateful.

RE: Darrell Winningham
Thank you - I've posted the headstone photo. I'm sure the spelling/dates are incorrect on the headstone and not on the DC, so everything's fine.

RE: Darwin Alexander
Ok this is becoming too cool. I see you also requested Bowen Oliver Card? I see his wife was an Alexander. How are you related to him? Bowen had a sister named Ethel May who was my husband's grandmother!

RE: Darwin Alexander
It is finished. I will get the other Alexanders that I did not photograph today at a later date.

RE: Dawrin & Lloyd Alexander
I took pics of the graves of Maria and Horace Alexander as well. I kind of get the feeling if others pop up, people tend to request them as well.

Regarding Larry's post below
He will not transfer my wife's brother's memorial even though I asked per guidelines. It appears some people cannot wait for the next obits so they can immediately gain another number in their total, before a grieving loved one even has a chance to erect a more personal memorial. Is this the intent for which Find A Grave was founded?

Regarding Larry's post below
Hello Ms Moore,

If I may, I've had some previous dealings with Larry (the preceding commentor) regarding transfers. Larry is of the school of thought that rigid adherence to Find A Grave policy trumps all other considerations. He will under no circumstances transfer memorials outside of the mandated four generations. And utterly forget getting a transfer of merely a friend! So I suppose I shouldn't be shocked that he attempts to persuade others to maintain similar rigidity where policies are concerned. I gladly transfer memorials to folks who claim a relationship with the deceased and once transferred I don't go back and make an assessment of whether the memorial is in good hands. Magpies like Larry are all about the numbers and helping family members make connections with their past is of little or no concern to them.

Feel free to delete this post. I've no intent to cause any angst for you. Just saw an opportunity to express my contempt for the likes of Larry and his ilk.

Transferring memorials
You should not quickly transfer memorials just because someone asks a question. Find A Grave Q & A's makes their recommendation or guideline for transferring.
Thanks for contributing to Find A Grave.
