Mark, I'm sorry. but the number you have given me is wrong, and you do not mention any names, so I cannot understand who it is you are looking for.

RE: Your thoughts on Mallow #16
Mark,
I agree with you she should have a memorial there and have her story told, I have never read the book and I neither have any Mallow's in my line. If you would like to add a memorial, I think it would be great. If you would like to add anything to Michael's memorial I would be glad to transfer to you, for I don't have any dates, all I had was what was in the old Pendleton County grave regester.

Mark: I have transferred all three memorials to your care, as requested. You might want to take a look at the other Sedlaks in my genealogy to see if there is any connection. See www.wheeler-roots.org.

Hi, I recently discovered my relative was related to you. Sarah Isabelle Garner Waters, wife of William W Waters. It was great to see a picture of her family. Thank you for posting it. I submitted corrections to link her memorial with the family so hopefully all goes well with it.

Westlawn-Hillcrest Vets
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

RE: Bethel Cemetery & others
Thank you for the beautiful words about our memorials. I don't get to Clarksburg very often, but would like to go and do some hunting up there. I would love to back to Bethel, but believe I want to take someone with me. Unless the condition of the cemetery has improved it would be a good idea to have someone with you. Maybe some time this coming year if things go okay. Haven't done anything this year to add as I have been bowled under as we repaired and sold a house and my mother in law had hip surgery and we helped her. By the time we got that done the warm weather was gone and we have had so much rain this year.
Hope you have a Happy New Year. Good hearing from you again.

Susan Ritter
RE: Question on John M. Ritter
Mark,

I can't find much on Capt. John's military career either. I have two muster lists with John as Captain of the Ritchie County 11th Union Militia; however, I cannot find a record of the 11th in Ritchie County. I do little if any military research and can take only by faith the records handed down to me from my great grandparents.

If you can find anything on the subject, please let me know.

Susan

Your requests didn't come to me, but I knew I was going over there so I check to see if there were any requests listed here. I added a 3rd one, Katherine Vallery, that wasn't one of your requests, but I was sure you'd probably want that one as well.

Best wishes,
Julie Knox-Birkhimer

William P. Brown
Sigler Cemetery, where he is buried is overgrown and has a lot of weeds and woods. My husband & his friend found it and photographed it for me. I guess if you know what you are looking for and where it is at that the cemetery isn't that far off the road, just no one has done anything there is a few years. It is such a shame. The stones are deteriorating and will probably continue to without someone cleaning up the cemetery and taking care of it.
Just thought you might be interested in that bit of information.

Mark,
We enjoy doing find a grave, but been unable to work on it much this past year. I have had a few health problems plus some other things, hoping we can do a few more before winter, if not maybe next year. Thanks again for the compliment.
