RE: Peter Holden and Agnes Hay
Hi distant, distant, distant and more distance cousin/aunt/uncle...never did understand distant relationships... :). I think I got the information from Ancestry so that is all I know without going to my "poor" notes. My great-grandmother is Jeanne Bingham Holden Temperley. So she should be in your history somewhere. You can look her up on Find A Grave and work your way back to Peter. What brick wall are you trying to break through? That may help me research as well.

Re: Wright Headstone Photo Requests
I have found a photo of the headstone you requested be photographed. It is online but I have no rights to add it to the Find A Grave website.

If you Google "Town of Stettler" and open their website, you will see "Living" under the heading of the website.

Click on it and then on "Cemetery" and you will find a keyword search that will bring up your wanted photograph. I hope these directions are easy to follow. If not please message me and I'll try another route.

I have just now written the Town Office of Stettler to see if there is any way of having their photos shared on Find A Grave.

William McIlveen
I have claimed your photo request for William. In looking for the plot information, I found that there were four more McIlveens in this cemetery but without memorials, including William's wife Elizabeth. I took the liberty of creating memorials for them: # 144910425, # 144910194, # 144910070 and 144909294. If you would like me to photograph those graves also, please go ahead and enter a request. If you would like me to transfer you management of the memorials, I would be happy to do so.

John Smith info fr his obit
John Smith 63725284
I think that the date of death is also Nov 6 on the stone and that matches what was in his obit.

I just sent an edit for this memorial.
He died as a result of his car hitting a tree.
He was in Kitchener and returning home to London Ont. when the accident happened at St. Mary's Ont. He was transported to the hospital in London where he died.
Other people were in the car but not killed.

Son of James Smith and Sarah McKonkey. Born on the 8th concession of Innisfil but came to Barrie as a baby and attended school there.
When still a young man he resided in Sturgeon Falls and later in Edmonton for 8 yrs. Then to London for 12 yrs as of his death, where he worked as a commercial traveller for a packing firm.
Interested in horticulture, member of the United Church and also of the masonic order.
Married in Sturgeon falls to Alberta Warrell and had a son Howard who had just graduated that year from the university of Western Ontario and was living in Toronto.

His funeral service was held at the home of his brother 144 Maple Ave.

RE: Love tombstone
You are welcome.

There was another "Love" marker beside it.

It is note very readable. the date of death
looks like 1804 or 1904 birth ends in "58"

In the name I can make out "Field"

Any idea?

Would love to add info to any of my historic memorials, but I can't find any documented validation of your correction. Can you point me in the right direction? If you know this family, which of the Rawle girls was the mother of his second wife Ann?

If you take a close look at the stone for Katherine McConkey you will see that her maiden name was spelled MacDonald.
I don't know which is "the" accurate one.

I did find the family plot, there is a large monument in the middle of it. I am guessing there are flat stone surrounding which all are buried. I took photo's of the plot, take care.
