I've posted the pictures for the Pleasant View Cemetery which you requested. I also found, in the same area as the stone you wanted, one for Glen (Glenn) Albert Thompson and his wife. I have posted it to his memorial.

I've 'claimed' a photo for you in a cemetery in St. Ignatius, Montana. Since there is already a photo of the marker on the findagrave memorial, I'm assuming you are hoping for one where the dates are visible and the names clearer. Usually I don't like to 'rephotograph', but will do so in this case. It's terrible to have a grave marker and not be able to read the dates! Snow is melted now and I'll try to get up there next week.

re: Jewell Fitzer in Cypress, CA
Just saw your request to get photo. Feel free to send any write-up or additional info and I'll add to bio, with link to you as provider of info. If you are close relation, I'll transfer, if you plan to maintain long term. Otherwise, I'll hang on to it as part of larger project for this cemetery.
All the best.

Martha A Jones
Garry and Sandra-- I am a ggg grandson of John and Arena Jones, living in Mo. I notice that you have contributed some info for their dau Martha, buried in Clear Creek Cem. in Morgan Co. Tenn. Just wondered if you have any other info, for her, such as when she died, and why. Even if you don't have any verifiable facts, I would be interested in anything you might have.
Thanks, Ron Jones

Hi Garry and Sandra,

If you are related to the Jones family, I would be happy to transfer all of them to you. They are not related to me, I found them in an old cemetery book and since they were not yet listed on Find-a-Grave, thought it might be of help to someone out there searching for them.

Re: Etta Jacobs
Hello! Garry & Sandra,

I wish I could help you. I am not related
to any one by the name Jacobs, I don't
even know a living person by that name.
Bur read on, as I have been doing genealogy for many years. I do enter mostof my memorials from genealogical related items, cemetery lists, etc.

Now, I put her name in a search engine along
with the fact that she was principal of McKinley, didn't try the other schools. She was
mentioned a number of times, and I certainly
would think that her obit would be in a local

I don't subscribe to a newspaper on line, but that is the only way I found anything on her.
in the search engine. It is worth your time,
if you haven't already try putting in "Etta Jacobs, principal of McKinley in Miami, Oklahoma" as it does bring up related items in her life during the 1930's.

You might try writing to the Eastwood manor nursing home in Commerce, give them the info out of the Miami News Record perhaps someone there might be remember her.

My best suggestion:
I would write to the the editor of the Miami newspaper, and give him the info you have
and mention why you are searching for her,and you are hoping that someone will share the location of her gravesite. I have done this, and had excellent response, as the "Letter to the Editor" column published my letter, and I received letters, phone calls from local citizenry, reminiscing about their memories of
the family I was searching for and telling me where they were buried. That is my best suggestion and I hope it makes sense to you.

You are not infringing on my time,I am glad if I can be of help. That was my reason for becoming
a member of Find A Grave, to help by sharing information
that I have with others, obits, family history
etc. as I have so much material, it is a shame
that it cannot all be put online.

RE: Flynn Fallon
Gary & Sandra, I returned to the Whiskeytown Cemetery on Sunday 16SEP and searched for Flynn's marker without luck for an hour and a half.

Do you know any details regarding where his grave is and / or what it looks like? Since there is no directory system at Whiskeytown (that I am aware of) I have walked that entire cemetery several times, in previous searches, with mixed results.

Any hints or clues would be helpful.

Hi Gary and Sandra, sorry I ran out of time that week ... and I am in Oregon right now. But, since I work in Whiskeytown and will be back to work there next week, I will make the time to return to the cemetery. Please bear with me. Thanks!
