RE: Cora Pitts
Linda, thank you so much for taking the time to hunt this down. Please don't spend time looking any longer. I suspect she was buried next to Moses or Mr. Pitts. I would be interested in hearing, and possibly receiving a copy of any map that the man you contacted says he may have! That would be wonderful! I have many family members buried there! Thanks again for all your kind help!!!

Dear Linda,
Would you mind transfering Anna DeVere (Find A Grave Memorial# 80740671) to my account (#47578342)? She is one of my Great Grandmothers.

Thanks for your time and work,

Thank you so much for looking for and reporting that Charles Huffman does not have a marker on his grave (at this point in time). I appreciate your efforts and the information! Also, thank you for adding it to his memorial.

I can not find a Municipal-Calvary cemetery listed. Would it be listed another way?

I'm thinking, after reviewing the interrments at the Mesa Cemetery that Cora may be more likely buried close to Mr. Pitts, her second husband. Thanks again for everything!

Thank you so much for taking the time and energy to drive all the way to Mesa! I've been there once for a family reunion, (my Mom grew up there), so I know how the weather can be so different! Please don't feel that there is any rush to get this done! It means alot to me that you are so willing to do this! Thank you again!!

Hi, If you notice from his page, he died and his headstone has no death information.

Please take another photo of his headstone that shows his death information.

RE: Ruth Marie Elsberry Anderson
I'm sorry if you were planning on doing this request, but I thought the claim was open. The cemetery office is really helpful with finding these grave sites! Her ashes were buried on the grave of Kathryn Elsberry. I gave the relevant information to the requester, leaving it for her to decide what to do with it.

Thans, Linda.
I had deleted that place of death (I think) when I sent the second email but I really don't know about his death and burial except what I pulled off the web. (Must've made the error of an assumption.) Might be better to just remove the reference to the last places places altogether!
Again, I thank you kindly for your postings.

Only remotely at best, William Traber's first wife was a distant cousin. But I get carried away researching families and have been trying to connect the dots on lots of individuals. I ran across Harriet's memorial and in the process found both of her sons so decided to request connections. Love this site.

Linda, please don't feel rushed about this. I'm grateful for your kind attention to getting the photo for us. We are planning to visit Lake City this August, and will pass through Grand Junction, so we might actually get a chance to visit the gravesite on the way.

Sorry, got to the computer late tonight. No, I don't know when Jack (Joe-in Harriet's obit) Smith passed away and discovered I don't know much about the sister, Charlye either. Except that she married John Haverkorn and Arville L. Beard. Can't seem to find out anything on them either. But, then I haven't worked on the Boulware lines in quite some time, Sorry. I am very distantly related via Thomas Willoughby Boulware, so another branch of the tree, so to speak. Sorry I can't help you and would appreciate it if you ever find anything to let me know. Have someone who might (or me) go to Cleburne in the Spring to do some research. Happy Hunting to you, too. Bobbye Varner

Your are so kind to have gone out in this weather to get the picture. I only knew "Stretch" for a short time but like her nickname, she was a character. Stretch and all the women who served in Vietnam that were not nurses are being remember in a book that I am helping research. I really appreciate your help. Cricket

Thanks, Linda for the update. There is no rush, though it will certainly be interesting to see the stones for Benjamin Snyder and May Eastman Snyder.
