Carol,
Working on the Beatty family (what an interesting bunch!). My husband's paternal Grandmother was Josephine Ida Beattie, daughter of Marshall Crossley Beattie and Hellen Melinda Bearnes. I would like permission to use your photos in our family tree on Ancestry. Would be appreciated. Thank you. Kathy and Jon Brown mlfamilytree@yahoo.com

Carol,

Pleasure meeting you! Sarah's obituary would be greatly appreciated - I would put it on her memorial and credit you.

I am not directly related to her. Her Grandmother is family to my son-in-law.

Regards,
Paula

Tedrow and Camblin families
Carol,
I've made the updates and links that you requested for Joseph and Grace Tedrow. I'm not related - I live in Fairfield, Jefferson county, Iowa, and sometimes when doing memorials for burials here I discover parents and children in other areas, such as down in Van Buren county. If memorials are needed, I try to make them but I don't always have full names, dates, and relationships known to me, so SAC's like your are quite welcome.

I'll be glad to transfer those particular memorials to you if you have enough information to update them. It looks like I was aware that there were a number of children, but didn't have names to link to/from.

Richard

thank you!
Thank you for the Scherer photo! It took me years to track this family down. Julia was a German immigrant with her parents and siblings. I'm a direct descendent of her brother. Again, thank you!

I spoke too soon about Wilbur Sprague....I have him in my Ancestry Tree 3 times because of three different children coming in different ways. He and his wife are buried in Sprague Cemetery, Coal Run, Washington County, Ohio complete with photos. Jill

RE: Daniel Owen
I have done alot of research on the Chapman Family which led me to research the Owen Family. Hannah's brother, Daniel Owen Jr., married Mercy Chapman, daughter of Davis Chapman. I live close to Greenlawn Cemetery and have many relatives buried there. It only makes sense that Deborah would be buried in Greenlawn but the cemetery book does not list her there. Daniel Sr., son Daniel Jr., and son Henry are all buried there. I have Deborah's father as Wilbur Sprague but haven't found much else on him. Do you agree and do you know Wilbur's parents? Did Deborah only have 3 children with Daniel? Do you know anything about her first husband Swift? Maybe she is buried with him. I would be a very, very distant relative, if that!!! Jill

Do you know where Deborah Sprague Swift Owen is buried? Maybe she went to Iowa with daughter, Hannah Nicholson? Thanks for linking to Daniel Owen. Jill MacRae
