Thank you so much for the headstone photo in Tuscumbia Cemetery- I had taken that photo many years ago, but could not find it again, and when I did look for it again in that cemetery, I STILL could not find it!

RE: Darrel W. Gulland
You are welcome.
Darrel was my best friend for the last ten years of his life. There is no day that goes by that I don't think of him. We studied hypnotherapy together and then shared an office. As well as enjoying hiking, music and photography. He was one of the first people I met when I moved to NM.
I got to know Oscar especially well when Darrel had experimental brain surgery for his Parkinson. I wish Oscar was still here to tell some of our funny loving stories about that stressful time.
I am so glad that you visit this site. It is good to know that they are also remembered by you.

Jessie Mann
George Ivy Cotton -Vaughn Cemetery
The George Ivy Cotten buried in Vaughn Cemetery had a son George I Cotton. The son is the George that married Bethel Coffman not the father. Please correct. George Ivy Cotten Sr was married to Lucy Ellen Robbins until his death. Lucy later married a Mr. Connell. Lucy is buried in Tol-Wood Cemetery.

Family trees
Ah! I'm from Frances' line but I didn't grow up around the Hauensteins. Reconnected last year with the family and have been enjoying learning about my genealogy on here and using Ancestry. I actually lived in Missouri for 3 years before I reconnected, Kansas City to be precise; I wish I'd known the Miller County Museum had Hauenstein information back then! My boyfriends family is back in KC still though so hopefully I'll get to visit the museum in person when we travel back for a holiday sometime.

RE RE: Thank you so much!
Yes, I have been using it extensively! So many great pictures and stories about the Hauenstein family in there! May I add you to my friends on here since you've been so helpful?

Thank you so much for transferring my Great Grandfather to me. I'm so excited to be working on my genealogy and helping to create more links for easier tracing of the family roots in the future. Best wishes to you and yours!

Thank you for the headstone photo of my great great grandfather in Jenkins-Bungart Cemetery. I wonder if you would give me permission to use your photo in my family tree? I would really appreciate it.

Thank you, Linda

Headstone Joseph T Miller
Because of your work on bringing by grandfather back to me, I saw he only had an aluminum plaque for headstone. I called and spoke with many people in Miller County, Missouri and finally was given the name of the people who own the property onto which the Bolz Cemetery is located. I spoke with Mr. K. Degraffenerit who verified the grave was there and that his son-in-law does the mowing around the graves. He will allow me to put a veteran bronze headstone on his grave. I am now attempting to complete the veteran headstone application (as you know he was a World War II Veteran Marines). I'll keep you posted on how things are going.

Carl and Tina Nelson Photo Requests
While taking photos of Carl and Tina Nelson's headstone, I also found headstones for the following individuals located to the right of Carl and Tina.

Engebret and Kristina Nelson (shared a stone)
Uncle Amund (no last name listed but on lists him as Amund (Sandbacken) Nelson
Alfred and Annie Nelson (shared a stone)
Gwen, Jon, and Clarence Nelson (all three shared a stone)

I have uploaded pictures for everyone except Uncle Amund who is not listed in the Mickinock Cemetery (probably because he didn't have a last name listed). As I am not 100% positive that he is the Amund (Sandbacken) Nelson, I will not add him. However, if a family member who can confirm this is the same person were to add him, I would be happy to add a photo of his headstone.
