My aunt Marie was the daughter of Freddie Younger Greathouse and Hettie Myrtle Davis. They were married in Montgomery County, Ark., and buried in Oklahoma.

Marie was the wife of Jace Pettigrew. Her maiden name was Greathouse. She was the sister of my mother Maxine (Greathouse) Stahl.

No problem - was drawn to the grave as the name was not consistent with those around him and was a flat stone. I am glad I could find it for you.

Thanks for responding to my message. I noticed that you had posted a lot of entries, so was just wishful thinking anyway. And I know that sometimes things do get lost. I believe that this Martha J. Gist is actually Martha Jane Story who married Robert J. Gist. Dates of birth for both are within the range. Will try to find info somewhere else. Thanks again!

Could you tell me where you obtained the maiden name of Childers from? It is not on the double marker for her & her husband. I believe this to be Martha Jane Story who was born in Tenn. in 1844. She married Robert J. Gist, who was born in Texas abt. 1848. He died in 1907, but she did not die until 1926. Could she have married a Mr. Childers after Gist died? Thanks for any help you can give me!

S. Albert Hale is my great uncle. I am working to get his parents and brothers and sisters memorials on Find A Grave. If you wouldn't mind turning his memorial over to me (assuming he's not a relative of yours, if he is then never mind :) so I can properly link them up. I also have some pictures to add. Thank you.

Thanks for the transfer! I'll keep after this wife's identity, and let you know.

Thanks for the offer to transfer, Doyle. I'm happy to accept her, if it's no bother to you.
I will keep after the issue, because the person I think is the wife is a cousin of mine with the Maiden name of Hogg.

I can't find any other document for this person. Do you know of any other info about her? I have a different woman in her place Marie Vonita Hogg, from a very excellent genealogist.
Could they be one and the same?
Thanks for your time.

Thanks for what you've done on this website. Would you be able to tell me about some gravesites at Mt Ida Cemetery. You show a John and Nellie George double headstone and then a Baby George stone. Could you tell me if the Baby George is close to or next to John and Nellie? Also you show a concrete marker with a metal tag on it that says George. Is it close to any of these others?

About Find A Grave Memorial# 48624040 -- My husband and I had formed the idea that John Randolph Dorsett's father was John Richardson Dorsett. But we are NOT positive. We are VERY VERY interested to know why it is believed that John Randolph's father was William Wharton Dorsett.
