No problem. Someone sent me a request to move the picture. I did not want to since it would have given me credit for the pic. Thanks for moving it over... - Jeff

|Thomas Erbes||4th Cousins|
Johann Nicholas Pohl who married Anna Margaretha Renner. They had a son Gabriel Johann Pohl, who married my 2nd Great Grand Aunt, Elizabeth Erbes Pohl. They had 13 children, so I guessing there are a few cousins out there.
I live in California, I have visited Mendota a couple of times and enjoyed my visits. There is an Erbes Cemetery in Bureau County, which was the original family farm of the Henry and Charlotte Erbes. Which would be our common ancestor.
I have been attempting to link all the family members together on Find a grave. I appreciate the work you have done in recording the graves at Restland.

We love what you are doing for all of the families who are searching for their heritage. I have read that we have some deep history in Mendota- business at one point in the 1800's, etc. How do we actually locate the graves you have so kindly found for us?
Jacob Klucker was 1818-1884 memorial # 111261669
Johanna Klucker was 1832-1915 memorial #111261475
We were out there the other day but I missed the name of the cemetery so we were in the wrong one!
Are there maps with the plots on them or who would I contact to try to find them?
We are a couple hours away and would like to make a Saturday/Sunday trip out of it.
Again thank you so much for all you are doing.

You're welcome, Tyler! :) Also, on the Stewarts who have unmarked graves, I added photos of where their graves are reportedly located in Zion Cemetery.

Thanks so much for the pictures!! They look awesome! I visited the cemetery briefly back in 2011 on a cold and rainy day, and couldn't find the graves. Thanks again!!!

Thank you anyway. I called the number given for the cemetery several times. All I get is a bunch of squeals and clicks. It sounds like a fax machine. I guess I'm out of luck. I may resort to creating a memorial without a cemetery. It's been done by others.

I'm trying to locate the grave of my great-great-grandfather, Adin K. Fennel. He died in Mendota on June 18, 1863. His in-laws, Elisha Allen Clark #38975087 and Martha Spooner Clark #39256645 are both buried there. They outlived him, but maybe their graves are near his. I hope you can help me find him.
Thanks so much
