Chumley Graveyard in Mercer Co, Ky
Jim, fyi, I did finally find & take pictures of all stones in the above cemetery. Thought you might want to check them out for Larkin Chumley & family.

Jim - I don't have a personal copy of the death certificate. They are available (certain years) on Ancestry.com when you subscribe to their website.

Jim - The individual's death certificate is my only source. Bear in mind, they are often highly inaccurate especially the older ones.

Larkin C. Chumley
Jim, yes got his burial info from several places.
1st his death cert says "Family Burying Ground",
his son was buried there in 1905, just 11 yrs after his dad & most inportantly, a Family Sheet written in 1981 by Mable K. Bottom of Harrodsburg, states "buried at Chumley Graveyard, Cornishville Rd (gravestone says Chumbley)". So apparently he does have a stone, I may have to go hunting for that one day soon.
Let me know if you'd like me to scan this sheet and send to you.

I am glad you liked the photo's. Just so happened, your request fell on my day off that I use for grave photographs. Lexington Cemetery is a gorgeous place and the grounds crew work really hard to maintain a park like atmosphere. I don't think I have ever seen wilted flowers on any of the 70,000+ graves there.

RE: Broaddus- Lexington KY Cemetery
I have filled your photo requests for Mr & Mrs Broaddus. You may want to go back and fill in the missing dates and correct the memorial names for spelling. The maiden Rayburn looks like it may be spelled wrong on your memorial. Welcome to Find A Grave..
