I have added the photos, but the dates do not seem to coincide with those on the find a grave web page.

Georges Vitaly
my understanding is that whereas Vitaly was his real first name he also used it as a stage name instead of his real family name (is this comprehensible?:)

Stone Finders
Severyn Borachok
I am not tired of Find a grave just all the burial unknown. I love to walk old cemetery's and take photos. But after I do a cemetery and someone moves a burial unknown and tells me I have to delete mine I get a little upset that they moved the BU. A lot of family tree are being made on Find a grave now. They make burial unknown just to link.

As for Severyn Borachok, how is he related?

My memorial was created before yours, so I've merged your information into mine and yours has been removed. If you want me to transfer the result to you, please ask.

RE: oops....
Hi! I'm not of Russian or Serbian decent. I just noticed the cemetery and wanted to add the memorials here. Unfortunately I did only get through a few rows before the caretaker told me I couldn't take photos, so I most likely won't be adding any more. :(

Alexander Petrunkevitch (1875-1964)
According to some of russian historians, after death of Alexander Petrunkevitch (1875-1964), his body had been cremated and ashes had been spread.Did cremation took place in Evergreen Crematory? Do you have additional information about it?

Richard Boyer
Vladimir Bakaleinikoff marker - Homewood Cemetery
Vladimir Bakaleinikoff died 5 Nov 1953 and was cremated and his ashes are in the Columbarium next to his wife Julia. The pictures I took didn't turn out very well because of the lighting and the reflection. The Homewood Cemetery would love to have background information on this individual for their files, such as a good picture, biography, etc. If you happen to have any of this material, please send copies to Richard Boyer, 126 Hoffman Road, Glenshaw, PA 15116. Anything would be appreciated.

I rec'd your message about the dates on the above individual. I wonder if you are positive about them as they differ dramatically? How are you arriving at these dates?

Glad to change them if you are sure. Perhaps it a son of the same name?

While I greatly appreciate your helping me improve the memorials I have in Kobe, the use of a copyrighted promotional photo is against Find A Grave policy. Please remove the candy photo you posted on the memorial for Fedorovich Morozoffþ.

Serge Conus
Greetings! Thanks for the e-mail -- yes, active (although I get behind sometimes). I've been following up too slowly on Serge (and his parents) I believe. I suspect he's at a Russian Orthodox cemetery in Boston, and should have followed up on a confirmation from 4 weeks ago. It'd be great to follow up with you. Were you a student, as well? Thanks - John Q.

photo request
I received your request for a photo of the memorial of Alexander Sergeievich Brasol (Jan. 7, 1893 - Feb. 3, 1993). I will follow up on this as soon as I can. Today we are expecting sleet, freezing stuff. I will get there in the near future, though!
