My pleasure. I got this document from my cousin Tim, who is the eldest son of my uncle Harold W Vogel, who is on the tree. Like I said, don't know who did all the work, but it is very interesting stuff, and it is amazing how we happened to meet to share this info! Thanks for your help, and let me know if you need any help in Union County, Ohio. :)

Thanks! Did you get my message that I have family tree info on Paul E Vogel and Anthony W Vogel's family going back to the mid-1800s in Europe? Would you like to have a copy of that?

Cool, thanks! According to my info, Paul Edgar Vogel and Dorothy Watzek had 5 kids - Paul, Elbert, James, Jerome and Robert. I have Vogel family tree info going back to Paul Edgar and Anthony W's Great Grand-Parents, back to the mid 1800s in France + Germany. I scan scan what I have and send it to you, if you are interested. It looks like one of Paul Edgar and Anthony W's siblins prepared this information in the 1950s or 1960s.

Hello! I am new to all of this, I just started tracking down all of this information 2 months ago. One of the first things I ran across was the photo of my grandfather's headstone (Anthony W. Vogel). Apparently you were the one who requested this photo? Can I ask why? Are you related?

I would love any information you may have. May I ask who your parents are? I was just at the grave of grandma and grandpa Cossin a couple weeks ago when I went to visit my dad and uncle Ralph. I will be back there in two weeks to put mulch down and plant flowers on the graves..

You are very welcome! Can i ask what part of ohio you are in? My Great Great granfather i suspect is buried down in Scioto, or Brown county, was hoping i could use you if you lived down that way to take some photos for me if you lived down that way.

You are most welcome.
I do plan to go back and take a photo of Russell's stone. I did not know before I got to the cemetery that it was partially covered in sand and I had no way of getting it off. I will bring a broom next time.
Have a blessed day!

I don't know if you saw my note, but the Lane graves are in St. Mary's cemetery, not Oak Grove cemetery (they are adjacent to each other but still different). I asked the creator of the memorials to correct that, if he doesn't, I will ask Find A Grave to make the correction. Do you know why 3 of the 4 names on the stone all died in the same year, 1916?

There is a picture of the stone on Ohiogravestones.org.
Look under Gravel Hill or go by surname.
